The scariest player of all time: Stephen Curry! Nobody commands the double, triple team defense to guard him from 40, 50 feet away from the basket regardless he has the ball or not! The defense is exhausted, scared, helpless, confused when facing Curry. In the past, they could bully him. Now no more because he packed 15 more solid muscle. He literally over powered Smart, Tatum and maneuvered around Horford near the basket with ease! His handling, passing, finishing around the basket, relentless non ball movements, court vision, bb iq…. are among the best. He’s a complete package. (And he’s only 6’2”). He enabled the Warriors to play the most beautiful yet most lethal brand of bb ever. Telling he’s only the best shooter is insulting! For me he’s GOAT!

The false narrative that Steph didn't hit buzzer beaters iz crazy (in addition 2 ludicrous)! i bet if U added up all of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd quarter buzzer beaters he's hit, i wouldn't B surprised if he'd have as many as a good portion of that list COMBINED!! & It's never been fare 2 say he wuzn't hitting game ending "buzzer beaters". 1. he'z hit hiz fair share of "Game Winners". People R gonna knock him 4 leaving .6, or 2.3 seconds on the clock?! How stupid iz THAT?! 2. How can U fault Steph & hiz teammates 4 putting the game out of reach B4 the 4th Qtr. even starts?! He hadn't played much in the 4th Qtr. (from 2014 - 2019, & again in 2021/22). & how many more points & 3 pointers would he have 4 hiz career if he DID play those 4th Qtrs. (just 2 pad hiz #s)?!? So, i just wish honesty & context could B a part of the entire convo. Peace people.
@@timatityah.ysrayl Agree! I watched bb from the early 80’s, the showtime Lakers, the big three Celtics( LB, RP, KMcHale) the bad boys Detroit and of course the MJ Bulls. What I said above is my own opinion after watching the Warriors now. I hate comparing players from different eras because the games are different, the rules are different, but after watching the Warriors with Steph I couldn’t help jumping into the players from different eras discussion. If you talk about individual accolades or points/rebounds/assist average, Curry accomplishments are much less than Jordan or Magic, Kobe… but in the same token, if you just based on these achievements then no one can compare with Russell 11 chips or Chamberlain 50p and 30 r average. What I said is based on the player impact to game playing style, to the team and to the fan. And after watching SC he’s the guy that impressed and put me in awe the most. Jordan is probably the most spectacular basketball player in a perfect body that God created for playing basketball. Nobody denied that. But we should note those teams in the 80’s are packed with superstars (it took Jordan 6 years for him win chips, and all his 6 win are with Pipen and Rodman. (The Greatest 72 win Bulls 95-96 Bulls took 6 games to beat the SuperSonics in a not very impressive way). Curry started from scratch until couple years later with Klay and Green (and he made an immediate impact to the team despite his injury in the early years).Lakers, Celtics were all with superstars. It is much harder to win Championship now because the game has expended with more teams and more talents with the inclusion of international players. And talking about style of play, the iso ball half court slow play with big men is somewhat outdated . And of course the 3 points shot. I can tell you the way the Warriors play now , by half time they would put the teams in the 80’s on oxygen mask by half time(jk but somewhat true). I used to think the showtime Lakers played the most beautiful bb style but the Warriors have taken it up a notch. Again all these are my personal opinion. Just for the fun of it! Sorry for the long read!
@@mikekn7033 MJs legacy in big part was build being on a stacked team during era with no other power teams. MJ never beat Lakers or Celtics in their prime. Took Isiahs injury for Bulls to finally get past Pistons. After bulls got Rodman they had 3 hall of famers, 6th best man in Kukoc and highest 3pt% shooters in Paxon and Kerr during their runs. Their stiffest competition out east was Knicks who had Ewing and next best player was Starks who came to NBA undrafted lol Oh yeah. How about them Cavs with Mark Price and Daughterty.....

Funny thing is Steph's passing is so underrated, he's definitely a top 5 passer in the league (imo top 3 with CP and Bron), he just doesn't showcase it enough because Golden State offense is based on Steph making plays OFF the ball, not his passing.
Agreed. When you are the best shooter of all time, trying to find teammates is a lower percentage move. Steph plays the point, there's just a lot of fools who argue otherwise because they don't understand how Steph is moving without the ball to get it back.
