I remember when he was manually molding discs in his garage. I reached out to him about giving his some recycled plastic to try but didn’t pan out. He’s taken this farther than I could possibly imagine!!!
Bro I could not be more stoked for you! Its inspiring watching the way you've taken a dream and built it into a reality! You're continuing to kill it time and time again. Can't wait to throw the Ozone on some buttery hyzer flips
The different plastics with the same flexibility and density can have different flight characteristics because they can have different roughnesses after the manufacturing process. Plastics that result in a slightly rougher finish will be less stable. The roughness is pretty much impossible to notice with hand feel but on a microscopic scale it's significant. The reason this effects the flight is a disc with slightly more roughness will have a higher coefficient of frictional drag. Frictional drag is a significant factor of making a disc flip over along with the static pressure difference along the top of the flight plate
Dude. Congrats on the approved Disc! What a huge step. Keep up the hard work and don't stop here. Can't wait to see what comes next for you. Congrats big dawg
Your videos are always so inspiring and the comments are some of the nicest and most encouraging. I really appreciate to be part of this amazing community.
I’m caught up! I’ve been binge watching your content for a week now! It’s so crazy watching this journey, I miss watching your vids when you played at ACC that’s my home course! Denver pride!
Ive been following Trash Panda since the beginning. Love my inner Cores! Looking foward to the Ozone! Congratulations to you and please keep up the good work!
Excited to see that new fairway, and NEED that behind the scenes of the multiple fairways you tested in software. Great video, Recycled plastic starter set would be a 10/10 gift
Ive bought so many people "starter packs," usually picking a putter, a mid, and a fairway myself. But I'll go trash panda from here on once theyre available.
Congratulations on your mold approval! It was interesting listening to your perspective regarding 3D printing for prototyping, specifically because my 3D printed disc was a few lines below yours on the approval website. Congrats on all your success, and looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
Woo hoo! That’s great! Love the name.. 😉 my user name is based on my decades old “The Flying O-Zone”. I’m excited to get my hands on a few for my 2nd Shot Disc Golf company.
Hey Jesse huuuuge congratulations from Denmark, hope the Ozone gets to Europe at some point. Love the inner Core it's such a good disc. The Dune I'm still trying to learn, but it flies great.
Bought a dune. Been my go to disc at Johnny. I always thought it was dumb when people said it flies how I want to throw it. As a very casual player it’s so true. Can’t wait to throw that Ozone!
This is awesome news!! Thanks for taking us along on this journey - can’t wait to see where you go and what you accomplish this year!!!! What a great start!
to most people this might all sound confusing. but to me it all makes perfect sense. crazy seeing how far this brand has come from where it started 👊🏻❤️
I am so impressed by how you approach problems as new learning opportunities. It's amazing when you get into that flow/zone while working with an awesome team.
Maybe the inner core blue and ice flight variations could be a byproduct of the porous nature of each plastic? The surface roughness and such even at the smallest level could play a significant role.
As a new player, the Inner Core is one of the few putters that really clicked for me. Went back and bought 2 more after playing a few games with it. Going to scoop a Dune next, can't wait to hear more about the Ozone. Love what you're doing with Trash Panda, and the insights you offer to the process.
I got a dune as well as a couple other discs in the trash panda disc giveaway, and honestly I wasn't the biggest fan of it. It was an interesting disc and for how I play I just don't quite have a spot for it in my bag. But with all that said, I do appreciate what you're doing and I think you guys are a great company. I am rooting for you and will definitely check this one out.
OK you put a hint at the end so here's my guess: it's a load of refurbished molds to start making a full line of discs and you are also going to announce a big sponsorship of a local Colorado player, and my bet is Eagle.
Disc buying i a little like buying vintages of wine, it's the same maker, same grape vines, same location, but the slightest weather change make a drastic difference.
Oooh, this is sick! I'm gonna call my shot and say flight #s will be 8/5/-2/1. Also whatever is on that truck will either have to do with sustainable stamping or multi-color/multi-plastic injected molds.
As a brewer it's interesting to hear specific gravity used in a different way than calculating alcohol by volume haha. If I drank a Dune what would the ABV be?
What are the flight numbers looking like they’re going to be? (I understand it’s still in a PFN phase.) With a fairway driver, i hope it’s a nice comfortable 7 speed. Still looking for substitutes to eventually replace my aging, OOP Innova Banshees. The numbers on that disc are unique; the only disc industry wide to ever come with the combination of numbers it has: 7/3/0/3
@@caseysmith544 Innova and MVP are additionally known to increase curing/cooling time in the molds for specific discs/runs to achieve greater consistency. Innova calls these “stabilized”.
Yo. That looked like a 7 speed 7 glide -2 turn on a .5 fade. The ice might have a 1 fade or 2 fade because of the plastic. Looks exiting. Please consider premium plastic starter sets as well. Ice Panda starter set, excellent for dyeing. 😊
I had some free time... Went through a bunch of different discs I'm familiar with and on the PDGA specs and approval page, it seems like the Ozone is very very similar to the Undertaker, so: 9/5/-1/2
I say closer to a 7 speed 5 glide -2 turn and 1 or 2 for fade, leaning more to 1. 9 speed discs do not look that skinny in rim even early 9 speed like an Innova Valkyrie or a Discraft Heat, even a slightly later Mantis rim is wider as an 8 speed. Problem is some 9 speed from Discraft on chart are set at same as 8 speed and some 9 speed due to chart and room are put at same level as a Stalker when that mold is more a 6--7 speed. Even an Archer a 5 speed disc is in Discraft driver category when mold is clearly a midrange or borderline midrange and control/fairway driver category based on rim shape and nose width. Problem is Discraft is not giving enough space to fit all molds on discs the way they have made the disc appear on chart and need to fix as people put too much stock into numbers and where discs fit. I mean I am using a Shark (mainly domey Star I have a few backups for) As an approach disc to short midrange and a driving putter slot but could also use a XD/Colt like putter for a driving putter slot too as I have a #2 Upshot in Prostyle by Lightning at 166 grams I have used as a driving putter before switching to Shark as a main driver. Now due age of my #2 Upshot and how light disc is only used as a Driving putter when winds are not going to negatively affect how disc will perform like a higher headwind or crosswind and as an approach disc when I have to throw dead straight.
@caseysmith544 The undertaker is one of the most famous 9 speeds around. The ozone: Rim Depth: 1.1mm Rim Thickness: 1.9mm Undertaker: is the exact same. Valkyrie is a 1.2mm Depth and 1.9 thickness. Also a 9 speed. I'm sticking with my original guess the ozone is the same as Undertaker numbers, if anything it's the same speed but a touch flipper based on him throwing it at altitude and seeming to turn more.
Hi just to ask I would love to become a tester for your product and I’m over in the uk please I have the inercoe in my bag and use it almost every time and I would like to give the other disc a try please
Please don't make them max weight discs😂 probably my favorite thing about trash Panda is The discs are not all 180 g. They're actually close to 170 usable discs
Throwing a clearish white disc on a day with snow on the ground....you're a mad man
Dude, I remember when you started building the first machine. So amazing how far you've gone with this!
It's incredible!
I remember when he was manually molding discs in his garage. I reached out to him about giving his some recycled plastic to try but didn’t pan out. He’s taken this farther than I could possibly imagine!!!

Ozone=O3=3rd disc pretty cool
Hell yeah, I just watched the eagles crossing video and speculated on the flight numbers. Congrats on the approval!
Hey guys! Michael here from Gandhi's Path DGC. Congratulations on the new mold! Cheers to sustainability in Colorado. Can't wait to throw the Ozone!
Got all the OG productions, this will be no different.

Yes! I hope this is the disc you’re sending me but I’ll be happy with whatever is sent my way. Super stoked for you Jesse.
Dude. Congrats on the approved Disc! What a huge step. Keep up the hard work and don't stop here. Can't wait to see what comes next for you. Congrats big dawg
Ninjalane, Dudes with Discs
I have to say.... "The Ozone" absolutly perfect name! 👌🏿 Love it!
Love this so much. I can't wait to throw the Ozone!
So stoked can’t wait to get my hands on this disc. FYI, it’s density multiplied by volume to get weight, not addition.
Your videos are always so inspiring and the comments are some of the nicest and most encouraging.

More stability on the innercore is needed for sure 🤘🏼 That was my only b**** about the inner core too flippy to bag for my throwing putter
Ive bought so many people "starter packs," usually picking a putter, a mid, and a fairway myself. But I'll go trash panda from here on once theyre available.

Congrats on the fairway, I will be getting one or maybe two ;)

Hey Jesse huuuuge congratulations from Denmark, hope the Ozone gets to Europe at some point. Love the inner Core it's such a good disc. The Dune I'm still trying to learn, but it flies great.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, especially the CFD and flight trajectory topics. Great vid!
Bought a dune. Been my go to disc at Johnny. I always thought it was dumb when people said it flies how I want to throw it. As a very casual player it’s so true. Can’t wait to throw that Ozone!
The Inner Core is my FAVORITE throwing putter, and I love the flight of the Dune as well. Very excited for this!

Congratulations to you and the team. Can’t wait to get my hands on one.
Congratulations 🎉 Thanks for taking us along with you! Super interesting to see the ins and outs.
Awesome, just got my ice innercore. Can not wait to try the new fairway driver.
SO EXCITED FOR YOU ALL, DISC LOOKS MONEYYYYY
I’ve already got so many Inner Cores and Dunes. Can’t wait to add a handful of Ozones to the collection!
Maybe the inner core blue and ice flight variations could be a byproduct of the porous nature of each plastic? The surface roughness and such even at the smallest level could play a significant role.
Just ordered the new ice inner core! This will actually be my first trash panda disc so I’m stoked!
As a new player, the Inner Core is one of the few putters that really clicked for me. Went back and bought 2 more after playing a few games with it. Going to scoop a Dune next, can't wait to hear more about the Ozone. Love what you're doing with Trash Panda, and the insights you offer to the process.

You are truly an inspiration!
I’m going on a whim that the color concentration in the blue vs. the natural TPU is contributing to the over stability and heavier outcome.
I got a dune as well as a couple other discs in the trash panda disc giveaway, and honestly I wasn't the biggest fan of it. It was an interesting disc and for how I play I just don't quite have a spot for it in my bag.

Yep i blame you for the snow here in idaho as well.
OK you put a hint at the end so here's my guess: it's a load of refurbished molds to start making a full line of discs and you are also going to announce a big sponsorship of a local Colorado player, and my bet is Eagle.
At 2:45 It should be volume*density. Not vol+density. If we want to get really technical that will give you mass not weight.
Disc buying i a little like buying vintages of wine, it's the same maker, same grape vines, same location, but the slightest weather change make a drastic difference.
I can't wait to be able to get this fairway driver to go long with the Dune. And Inner Core
Mmm...more goodness. Congrats!!
Rock on Trash Panda!!!
This cliffhanger is better then some season ending episodes of a serie. And it's about a forklift, so it seems.
As long as your forklift certified you shouldn't have many issues. No need to be scared my dude!
So excited for all the things!
That "Wild Caught" Salmon Dune hits different ❤
Oooh, this is sick! I'm gonna call my shot and say flight #s will be 8/5/-2/1. Also whatever is on that truck will either have to do with sustainable stamping or multi-color/multi-plastic injected molds.
I can’t wait to get a sustainable starter set🎉
Change 8 to a 7 and disc is there for numbers.
As a brewer it's interesting to hear specific gravity used in a different way than calculating alcohol by volume haha. If I drank a Dune what would the ABV be?
I’m guessing it’s a variability in shrinkage in the plastics…. (Inner Core)
What are the flight numbers looking like they’re going to be? (I understand it’s still in a PFN phase.) With a fairway driver, i hope it’s a nice comfortable 7 speed. Still looking for substitutes to eventually replace my aging, OOP Innova Banshees. RE: your question about stability on the inner core;
Sounds an awful lot like curing/drying/cooling timeline affecting plh?
As well as How some colors cause discs to be fully ready in the speed of process.
@@caseysmith544 Innova and MVP are additionally known to increase curing/cooling time in the molds for specific discs/runs to achieve greater consistency. Innova calls these “stabilized”.

Or even a 7 speed 5 to 6 glide -2 turn and 1 fade.
someday ima be sponsored by trash panda and remember the days when the ozone had just come out
Using that thermal rubber next?
As a 'pink' only thrower, does the 'ice' Inner Core take dye well? Any experience anyone?
Why do two inner cores fly different with different plastics even though the specs are roughly the same?
Weight distribution?
Can’t wait to get one
I gotta get the first ace😳
What tier to be a tester! Gotta get my hands on some of these!
Jk i can read LOL
Is that a sneak peek at a new Renu disc golf bag??😮
Anyone else think Jesse should design a miniature putter to fit in his upfolded beanies? Always disc ready…
Overstable approach disc next???
I had some free time...

Did you name it Ozone because it's O³??? That would be an epic reason!!
Hi just to ask I would love to become a tester for your product and I’m over in the uk please I have the inercoe in my bag and use it almost every time and I would like to give the other disc a try please
sooo when can i get one ?
I'm getting my ice inner core dyed by a friend
Can't wait!
What makes a disc PDGA approved???
Eagle sponsorship next? 😂
If the 180g dune is not PDGA legal, why can Innova put out a 180g roc3?
*opens a video to watch but notices this one so bump it up to first watched*
Prediction: there’s an injection molding machine on the truck
If they did baskets and the official basket of the pdga was trash panda...
LETS GO!!!
LETS GOOOOO!!!
Please don't make them max weight discs😂 probably my favorite thing about trash Panda is The discs are not all 180 g. They're actually close to 170 usable discs
Blue inner core is flat, new inner core is domey. So they're really not the same
or a different shape…..the og inner core is flat as can be where the new ice inner core has some dome to it. “same disc” different shapes 🤷🏼♂️
I bet Eagle ends up here
9 / 5/ -2 / 1 imo
HYPE
170+1=.....170? Lmao what
Nah, I call bs on that virtual wind tunnel
Mens pants are sold by waist size and inseam length. Wasn’t sure if you knew that since you don’t have a single pair that fit
