Professor Nelson, thank you for this video. If I see this correctly, then this is a push-based production control, and there is only one product. Buffers are emptied based on a FIFO logic. Could you also implement something like the following with Jaamsim? - Pull controls instead of push controls - Inventory controls based on more complex rules than simply FIFO (e.g. random part retrieval) - What if I have 100 product group - can I manage this variance and I want to manage inventory and prioritize between product groups and dependend part families - Instead of specifying a source that generates jobs with a random distribution or fixed intervals, I want to specify some sort of production schedule and execute it with the simulation Many thanks in advance.
