Great review as always I love the previous fx line so look forward to trying this racket, definitely some of the most underrated rackets on the market.
I liked the regular FX more than the Tour even though my racket of choice is 98, 305, 16x19 lol. Something about this frame feels like its missing something, maybe some lead would help.
Nice review. So nice that it is softer than the competitors. Is this the right rank from most to least powerful? Drive 98, Ezone 98, this FX 500 Tour, Aero 98, Strike 98 18x20, Radical Mp, Radical Pro, Blade 18x20, and Pro Staff 97
Hi, thanks for the comment. Yes I think that order would be right apart from the pro staff, but I find more power for free from that (the 315 version) than the radical pro.
Lots of players love current iteration of Ezone 98. Some say that it’s one of the best Ezones made. But I personally cannot get used to it for some reason. I like the feel when I hit the ball, but I don’t like how it feels when I swing… it feel 11 and 2 o’clock are too bulky

Whats your top 5 favorite racquets

You prefer this of PD98?
What makes this racquet have less spin than others?
I suspect it’s the grommets, they are not spin grommets like you get in the extreme tour. Also spacing of strings - quite a dence 16x19 in the middle
Thanks for the review
Sad to see that the FX500 line is as horrifyingly off spec as the SX300 line
How does it compare to Prince ATS 98?
Hi, good shout they would logical to compare. The prince has more power and plough through in stock. Feel is not too far apart, similar RA etc.
@@tenniseuphoria5012 good review as always

This or the Fx 500?
Thanks!
I've always thought the CX 400 Tour would be an interesting stick to try.
Ezone 98 is MUCH BETTER EVERY WAY

I own both and prefer the Dunlop. Much more spin compared to the Ezone.
@@villiam7941ezone is a fat a&& lol yeah it’s better to have thinner frame so vcore or percept is better
