- Warsaw, the capital of Poland, won the title of the most attractive tourist destination in Europe for 2023. 🇵🇱 Not only this, it is one of Europe's best cheap and budget friendly destinations as well! 💰
To be honest, Poland as a whole has never been on my travel list... 🫣 My first time in Poland was because we came here for the wedding of good friends of mine. We spent 1 week here, split between 3 cities, which was enough for me to decide I am coming back again soon! 😍

I don't get it why foreigners usually say it about Poland, Europe is not only European Union, when you look at the map of Europe's continent Poland is strictly in the centre of it. And that is why, due to its location, Polish history is so turbulent.

There is sooooo much more if you step off the beaten by thousands of ytubers path. Take a metro ride to Wawrzyszew metro station (15 minutes ride from the centre) and just head north. Nature 2000 preserve IN a capital city. Just beware of boars, though you can see foxes and herd of deers can suddenly run crossing your path. A lot of wild beaches and beavers nests. Also free ferry to the other bank of Vistula.

Varso tower is also the tallest building in EU
the tarrace on Varso will be open next year, it was supposed to be open acutally year ago but they are still building it lmao. The views will be amazing tho, 230m tall tarrace and trees on it. Cant wait to see Warsaw from there

Actually, there are big parts of medieval city walls, they were hidden inside destroyed tenement houses.
It is not eastern Europe. It is central Europe. Look at the map and learn something.

The Palace of Culture and Science was not demolished because the cost of demolishing it is like the cost of building a new skyscraper. In addition, the building itself houses many institutions, e.g. theatres, for which new buildings would have to be found, or rather built. There are always more important expenses for the city, so the palace is still standing.\
There will soon be new building work around the Palace, and in fact a garden and park will be built. However, the underground car park for the staff of the theatres and the palace is still under construction, and besides, it seems that archaeology has hit on something which always prolongs the construction work. Either way, in a while the area around the palace should be beautiful.
If you want to destroy historical building like that. You are just ignorant.

I can see that the dumplings didn't taste very good, it depends on the restaurant. They come with various fillings: cheese and potato with cabbage and mushrooms, sweet with just cheese, and depending on the season with strawberries and my favorite with wild blueberries.😋

Hi, I think the old town will be best, so you are in close distance to the things around. Plus the old town has its charm, I believe in December is going to look beautiful 😊
