ZUKIBO makes multiple different braided line. I’m glad you’re testing their product cause I’ve been very pleased with their ZUKIBO SAMBO 12+1 braid. You can get a 1000m spool, if anyone is wondering.
What a value, and I would assume from the uniformity that it casts very smoothly too which is not a criteria in the testing but definitely worth considering as a factor! Great video as always 🫡
@@thelinelaboratory I absolutely agree that is “stating the obvious” but I’m thinking about the newer anglers out there that may come across this video too, just in case it’s not obvious to them. I know you know don’t worry 😅🤝🏻
@@thelinelaboratory Hi. I don't understand why the Zukibo Firebird line has done so poorly result. I suppose it is because of the abrasion test. In other aspects it is what many of us look for. That it is thin and round to cast far and that it withstands in the tension test what the manufacturer says. I am surprised, given that Manster W8 II obtains a much better score, but it is a rope to tie the boat to the port.
Certainly good value for the money considering free shipping. Would be nice to know the specific gravity though. My experience with single strand braid is they've some kind of memory which means the line 'curls' when not used for a while on a spinning reel. This disappears after using it for a while.
Berkley say this: New and improved FireLine® is smoother, tougher, and more sensitive! 8-strand fused technology provides unmatched abrasion resistance making it 5X's tougher than conventional braided lines. It has a smoother, more supple feel for a longer casting Fireline®!
I think it was Berkley's nanofil when I was having this problem I mentioned. I'm currently using Zalt's Xenos by Linesystem without any problems sofar.
Funny you say that, I raised that exact concern with Zukibo a while ago, 100m just isn't enough. I got told they were also going to do 150, 250 and 300 but not sure when. I will follow up and see what I can find.
@thelinelaboratory 300m is ok but i also like bulk spools 500 and 1000m. I think 150, 300, 500, 1000m covers everyones needs. I am not entirely sure on the smaller sub 300m spools i never get them.
It's kinda sad that it's available only on 100m spool. I bought a 500m Jof braid from AliExpress and used about 250m on a 4000 Shimano reel. I think the smallest amount manufacturers should offer is 200m and also 500m bulk spools is very useful and less expensive.
Al pescatore non interessa no i test ma la qualità generale di un prodotto, i produttori nel mondo sono pochi ed i fili che compriamo sono sempre gli stessi cambiano solo i marchi.
I think both are relevant. The testing of the line shows the diameter and breaking strain which we know is almost always wrong on the packaging. Only when you know those numbers can you purchase the right sized line for your purposes. Quality is something that is hard to quantify, what defines "a quality line"?

Particularly considering the price this is incredible value for money 🐟🎣👌

Yep your absolutely right, i guess its kind of "implied" by the roundness value and seeing how smooth it is under the scope.

Kinda worried about fishing tackle stores when some stuff on AliExpress is just such great value.
The handing blast 8X could be a good candidate to test if you can :)
This definitely tested off the charts. I guess my question is, if money wasn't an issue, would you buy this or Tasline?
Can't say yet I haven't used this one, but I have used Tasline extensively and it's amazing so 🤷♂️
Great test and peanuts to buy but 100m spool rules it out for me unfortunately.
Yep agree, although I have been talking to them about offering longer lengths so fingers crossed
Please test Zukino Firebird Red Braid, thanksss.
We have. Results are on the braid summary page of the website.
Um das melhores linhas que testei
0.8 e 1.0 nas carretilhas BFS

Nice value indeed. Pity it doesn't come in longer spools - I'm not a fan of backing.
Thanks for the test video.
I believe longer lengths are on the way. I am in contact with the manufacturer and am pushing for 300+ meters
Are you going to test the new Varivas Avani Sea Bass Max Power X9? thanks
If we can get a sample yes absolutely

If you click on the link the vid description it will take you to the page on our website, the link to AE is there.
Only 100m spool?

hi . some link to get it . because on aliexpress only the Zukibo Firebird Red Braid comes out . but this fire ft is the same as the firebird ? thanks.
Nope different to firebird. I'll put the link here for anybody that's interested. www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007851484525.html
There won’t be many who agree with you
Agree with what? The test results?

Yep, this has been discussed in the comments of this video already. I am working on getting them to supply longer lengths as 100m is useless.
@@thelinelaboratory Nice! Keep up the good work.
this line get wind knots like a biach trust me I used it before
Interesting, i have used various lines similar to this one with no issues, but yet to try this specific one.
