Goat stampin it's foot like "Get down here loser!" Jokes aside though that bear is definitely doesn't look well fed, and the fact that it's even thinking of going after that goat when it's at a very huge disadvantage just proves the point further.
I think it's a young bear that has recently separated from its mother and is still learning how to take care of itself independently. It's not uncommon for them to struggle a little bit in the first year away from the mother. The bear looks young. He doesn't look injured or incapacitated in any way, which would be the only reason he'd be thin if he was an adult bear. He's probably just inexperienced in finding the best feeding grounds.

What is interesting about this video is that we see the bear making a conscious decision, not to proceed based on a judgement call.which required analysis of the situation. THis shows a level of animal intelligence that goes way beyond mere instinct. I often think draft animals like horse, cattle, oxen, etc.work for humans because they can make these intellectual decisions, decisions based on judgement.
While yes that is true, lots of mammals are capable of this accomplishment. You smoking weed and watching TH-cam videos? Kinda believe you are, with how much detail you went into over something so obvious.
@@MrBillFold What is worth commenting on is people can watch the animal make those conscious decisions as they unfold in real time; from watching animals, we don't often get to see this but only have a sense of their intellect as opposed to an animal's "instinct." A whole science is devoted to animal intellect that posits the "obvious".

Oh that’s the reason why ok
Interesting I actually did not know... Seems everyone else does tho.. whatever
You obviously haven’t seen the video of the polar bear scaling the face of a mountain to eat puffin eggs.
@@cuddy9215 home run SON! although this is not a polar
The Goat says " catch us if you dare Mr. Bear"
Amazing goat saving the baby by kicking the rocks and warning to the bear...
It is a warning and in the same time the vibration of stomping bring heard of goats to the rescue, because there is almost 40-50 goats came out from no where. This is another reason for 2 years old grizzly retaliate from the sight.
Hence we see the reason goats are such good climbers.
That bear is funny like “I’ll just wait up here” not knowing the goats are at home
"I'm not trying to fight. I'm stuck on this ledge." "I'm stuck too." "Huh....ummm...what do we do now?"
Smarter than the average bear...
And would prefer a picnic basket full of fried chicken, potato salad, and cherry pie, left unattended at the park rather than a bloody goat!!
🤣🤣yes cause I was just waiting for it to try it
I want "part 2." That clip ended too early. I want to see the goats, especially the baby goat, walk back up from that "death" cliff; yet, even that bear was doing much better on that cliff than any human would do without the right cliff-climbing equipment.
Thank you so much, me my wife and our 3 year old son watching this beautiful event, I was out of our truck and try make to little closer view, but my wife got very scared, when the bear try to charge down the cliff to get the goat. It may fall on me, because I am taking the footage right down the rock hill. So she started to call me in. Because always the law in National parks or Sanctuaries when you see any wildlife you cannot get off the car or try move closer to them. Thank you for your comment, next time we will get more footages. When bear spot or target his food, they never fail or they do not get distracted or hesitate at all. Because we lived here long to see, hoe the bear get his pray. Actual reason is the nanny and kid move to a very steep cliff and made the bear scared to climb down, and after nanny stomping and give the message to her families, there was almost 30-40 goats around the area, so bear have to clear the place. The nanny is so strong she can confront or fight with even a mountain lion and leave him with stabbing wounds all over. I really want to take the footage of all the goats came to rescue, but the park ranger have to clear the block, because the entire highway is blocked with almost 200 cars and trucks to see this event. Next time we will make sure no noises.
The bear fell and died th-cam.com/video/lyyfK5P0K1M/w-d-xo.html
The bear falls to its death shortly after this.
@@nizviz , yeh.. the sequel is more dramatic than the original.
@@mannyoliveira776 yes, there are many clips on YT showing the full scene.
The bear is like I am not on suicide mission I am on feeding mission
What is interesting about this video is that we see the bear making a conscious decision, not to proceed based on a judgement call.which required analysis of the situation. THis shows a level of animal intelligence that goes way beyond mere instinct. I often think draft animals like horse, cattle, oxen, etc.work for humans because they can make these intellectual decisions, decisions based on judgement.
It’s called “the instinct of self preservation” 🤷🏼♂️
While yes that is true, lots of mammals are capable of this accomplishment. You smoking weed and watching TH-cam videos? Kinda believe you are, with how much detail you went into over something so obvious.
@@MrBillFold What is worth commenting on is people can watch the animal make those conscious decisions as they unfold in real time; from watching animals, we don't often get to see this but only have a sense of their intellect as opposed to an animal's "instinct." A whole science is devoted to animal intellect that posits the "obvious".
It's called instinct, he's been programmed to be scared of falling, nothing else.
If the bear was actually smart he would have brought a rope to rappel down the cliff to the goats safely.
"If i go down...we all going down." 😂😂😂😂
Tyrone stealing chicken
Laquisha be stealing the grease. 😂😂😂
That Goat is like:"My man your gonna wish you hadn't!!!!" Lol
you're
Dinner on a cliff? You’ve gotta be “kidding” me!!!
That goat looks like he's been through some stuff🤣
I like how people are calling the bear smart for not plunging itself off a cliff 😅
Goat said, I can't bear you being that close, just kidding, I' m goating, you, come and get me
Did you expect a laugh🤨
The bear was almost a contender for the Darwin Award.
Brilliant. Mama Goat and kid get to live another day. Poor bear though. Nature eh
Cracking footage. Hungry bear, and a mama goat who was simply daring the bear to take that fateful step she knew would kill him. Shame the footage cut off.
It could barely stand against the greatest of all time.
l seen what you did there... lol
@@old-fashionedcoughypot Feels good to be noticed lol
Goat stompin' Michael Jackson style in Bad talkin' bout "Sham'one, Mr. Bear! Sham'one!"
