Hi there, yes, depending on what you want the little bird to be you can use alternatives. If you want the bird to be able to stand you could use pipe cleaner instead. You could shorten the fluffy fibres of the pipe cleaner to the thickness your liking. I use small scissors for this. If you want to hang the bird up as an ornament you could crochet the feet instead. I would make them like this: Ch 5, sl st 2, ch 3, sl st 2, ch 3, sl st 2, ch 3, sl st 2, sl st 2 in the first 2 ch you made. Bend them so that 3 ‘toes’ are pointing forward and one backward and the part where you have the yarn ends is the leg. I hope this makes sense. 😊 Let me know anytime if you have any more questions about it. 💕
Thank you for letting me know. I crocheted: Dec 2, sc 5, inc 2, sc 6, dec 2 (19) instead of: Dec 2, sc 6, inc 2, sc 5, dec 2 (19) So I accidentally swapped the 5 sc with the 6 sc. Either way works, as long as you make the increases in the middle of the rd. It still results in 19 st. :) I made a note in the description. Thank you for pointing it out. Happy creating! :)
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Aaron Rogelio I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hola Graciela, lamentablemente no hablo español. Estoy usando Google Translate para responder a tu comentario. There's an error in the text for round 19. You do dec 2, sc 5 (but the text says sc 6!), inc 2, sc 5, dec 2
