My game set me to East Asia as well the other day. I was pisseed beyond all recognition when I was jumped by a fully kitted invis Fighter after realizing how laggy I was.
I agree on the lag affecting gameplay more as a ranger. I always wondered how I could do so well in some games, hitting a decent amount of arrows, of course many misses but that's normal even for good rangers, and then in some games I am just complete dogshit and our team almost wipe because I can't hit anything for the life of me.. I'm pretty sure it has to do with latency and it's just sort of hard to actually see in real time how it fucks up your shots but I feel like it has to be it, like the arrows are let go too late and the margin of error is already so high that it just completely tanks your ability to actually hit anything.. the lag also makes it like what happened to you here, where shots basically "visually" goes clean through a player, but for some reason it just doesn't hit.
I completely agree. Your location relative to the server you play on is a big deal for projection characters. Arrows, spells, frannys, etc. Luckily, I have a phenomenal connection with us east but as you can see….not so well with Seoul.
I won't play with my friends if they don't play on us west because if I have latency issues and I miss curse of pain becaus of it I am just dead. I'm glad they are making it so you can't really choose your server anymore because a lot of my friends like to play on Brazil dead lobbies and I think it's lame, also one time I tried to play on Brazil with them they talked me into it and tthe moment the game started I was not connected, could not reconnect to the game, but I was in the game with all of my gear and lost all of it nothing I could do.
Haha yeah, we’re still at the point where the big kit team fights are adrenaline filled! I’ve noticed some of the streamers who have them all the time are a little calloused.
lol i was the ignite wizard at 2:10 i had a pretty good ignite kit, not sure if it was the 100% magical power bonus kit i made or not but it dealt a lot of damage. we actually saw u in lobby in a game before we fought u and decided to camp static and leave because i didnt want to get 1 shot :( (i was like 80 hp as a wizard lmao) ,next game we saw u again in lobby and decided to send it lol

Absolutely. I plan to put it in a later video too but basically, when you draw your bow, you lose move speed. When you reload, you lose move speed. Whenever you lose move speed, you can mitigate that loss of move speed briefly by being in the air. Think of it in an extreme sense. Let’s say you’re on top of the castle in ruins. When you jump off of the castle, you can draw your bow and you don’t lose any move speed from doing so because you’re falling. This also works for more minute periods in the air, such as jumping. Does that make sense?

I don’t even have fun on GC. I should’ve waited. I just grew impatient of not running my gold kit for over a week. I didn’t even warm up in a normals game. Whoops
My heart stopped beating at 5:14 when you queued into East Asia server. I play on that server (cuz I live in Seoul, obviously) and I know all the shitfest that takes place on that server. I actually receive a notification whenever I log into the game, saying a group of assholes are perma-banned for cheating and it's not even one or two guys that get banned on a daily basis. You can actually scroll down the list of them, it's mind boggling how prevalent cheating and pre-teammeaing is on the server. I feel bad that you had go through all that and man...I hope you never come back to this trash server ever again.
I needed this experience to happen so now, I always look at the server! It never even crossed my mind before. But that fighter beat me fair and square. I’m glad I didn’t get killed to cheating!
Lost a few 30k+ kits the past few days to goobers and didn’t make any money or rebuttal anything before I lost them since everyone has the biggest gear fear in this game.
@@mohammadsalmasi2559 He is good at the game. I've been double headshot by him and he's very good with a longbow. He just made a poor tactical decision there in that game not leaving ASAP.
@@mohammadsalmasi2559 Good is subjective. If we’re talking about killing mobs like Wendigo, Demon Berserker, etc, i’m bad. If we’re talking about bossing, i’m bad. I don’t do either of those. If we’re talking about PvP, i’m good. Watch my videos and make that determination for yourself.
It’s more useful to lock it out of the loot pile room because that gives you not only a defense for that entry into loot pile room but also an audio indicator. But to Zach’s point, I will never fight it without cheese. It leaves you too vulnerable to 3rd party.
If you're full gold people tend to hunt you so you can't afford to take any damage from mobs, makes the mobs scary even though you're in BiS gear, hope that makes sense
@thedarkharvester You can 2 shot it if you do 130 damage to the head on a training dummy. That's what made me think you guys just paid for all your gear. Hit the blue heart and you do 400% damage.
I will! I am officially out of gear this wipe with no plans on farming until next wipe. Once that happens, i’ll be making solo ranger content. Solo ranger definitely requires move speed.
@@thedarkharvester also i would req just using quick shot and pen shot with a long bow they both last 8 seconds and make a huge difference, shotgun is okay but it just doesn’t work well against people with shields which every character can use but casters and rogue

Absolutely. I plan to put it in a later video too but basically, when you draw your bow, you lose move speed. When you reload, you lose move speed. rangers should have a base extra draw speed on bow by 5-10%

yeh they are rangers for a reason and making it a perk isn’t good enough. A fighter could draw a bow with the same speed as a ranger without the perk.

Never spend, only sell. I make 1k per run usually. A 20k kit can be had in a day of play. Less if you're killing players with gear to sell.
