- Overwatch is blizzards latest game and their first fps. I will go through the Offence, Defense, Tank and Support heroes. My main is Pharah not Bastion by the way. Also yes it's meant to be a funny parody and not be taken seriously.

I don't play overwatch, but... I would have thought that the purpose of healing from a long range would be survivability..?
@@owlblocksdavid4955 i believe he has a limit on how far away you can put a healing orb on allies and if the ally is out of sight for 5 seconds the orb returns to the player. zenyattas long range is a plus in a game, but he has really low health, a large hitbox (for his size, not compared to other heroes) and is slow in mobility. zen also isnt a full healer hero, his discord orb is used to increase damage (by 30%) taken to the enemy its on. the discord has the same restrictions as the healing/harmony orb, as in, you have to be around the enemy to use this orb. zenyatta, by himself, does 48 damage per shot (2.5 shots per second), 60 damage with discord and has the potential to do 240 damage with a charge shot, making him more effective then most DPS's. All in all, if you play zen, you're most likely to be on the battlefield a lot.
tldr; zen can do 240 max damage in one shot and has both a healing orb and a damaging orb. These two factors mean the player is usually on the battlefield doing damage and healing. Buuuuut, zen has low health (200), a large hit box and has no mobility buffs/moves really slow.

@@creepyace8529 i've been maining zen since 2017. i hit mid masters with him. the only way to play zen is to discord one guy and hold right click the rest of the time. otherwise you're not playing zen.
Zenyatta is great at supporting main healers like Mercy or Lucio, but he's not good at direct fights without getting the first hit in.

Brandon Griffin Symmetra's shields stay on an ally until it's taken away by damage, like armor. Zarya only does it very momentarily and one at a time.

+ThaddaeusWay Nah, his ult isn't supportive at all and he has to loot enemies to reliably give out armor. It's also worth mentioning that Symmetra's sentries does provide support for allies by slowing enemies down, which is especially helpful for heroes who require a lot of accuracy. It really is a delight as a Widow Maker, for example.
There's a thin line, but I think it's very safe to say that Symmetra is a lot more focused on support than Thorbjörn. An easy way to divide supports from the rest really is comparing their ultimates. All support heroes have ults that are entirely focused on their teammates with no direct aggression towards enemies at all.
