@@locodagodbx81for real. If Topps and Panini know breakers can sell spots for way more than their product is worth then they don't give a single f if collectors can afford it.
You aren't paying for the value, you are paying for opportunity and possibility. Even if you were paying value, it's easy to critique the price after seeing the cards. It's like complaining that a losing lottery ticket is worthless. It's also basic economics, just like the "value" is a card. It doesn't matter what websites, books, appraisers, etc. say it's worth, it's worth what someone will pay you for it.
Yea these boxes are absolute ripoffs. Imagine you spend 2k on the first box he opened 😂 you are getting nothing for your money & Topps will continue ripping everybody off cause people keep falling for it with these breakers
Cool thing about the Vlad card, the photo was taken during the covid era and if you look to the left of the card, you can see a cardboard cut out of Geddy Lee, lead singer from the band Rush LOL.
Killebrew had the best signature. He's also the reason that many guys had really good signatures as it was something he stressed the importance of to everyone who came up through the Twins system.
For everyone complaining about the price. It is your fault it’s that high. Quit buying from blowout, steel city and big breakers and the price will go down. If you knew what they got the boxes for you’d be pissed. One year of Prizm pre sale was $120 and they were selling for 1k and nobody batted an eye.
Great card @ 4:33 but take a look at Elston Howard's signature. Just beautiful. I have a single-signed ball in green ink that is just awesome. My sister got it for me back in the 1980s as a Xmas present from a High School flea market in RIdgewood, NJ. She probably paid $20. Best gift ever.
The Mariano Rivera card is your winner. I guess some of the newer fans may not have seen him play and don't understand how dominant this guy was and what wicked stuff he had and how he would come into the biggest of playoff games and get the best hitters out at the plate when it really mattered.
I'd love to know what percentage of these boxes give a profit. I know that's not the point but this product seems rough. Great cards but nowhere near 2500 dollars.
2023 Topps David Copperfield Edition...to each his/her own. We all can do whatever we want with our own worthless dollars. I wish everyone the best of luck.
@@luckyraisin7361 I want to get a ton of elly rookies so come 2024 Topps products my wife is gonna trip lol 😂 jk she not that bad as long as I don’t spend our rent money or nothing crazy on cards
John wetteland got the saves in game 3 and 4 of the 96 ALDS vs the rangers, and went on to get WS MVP that year. Then signs with the rangers the next year lol.
Triple auto 💯 Dual auto 💯 Fisk, freeman 💯 The rest 🤷♂️. $2500 for 8 cards offers very little room for investment. I prefer the chase and the hunt for something cool rather than spending money like this. Thanks for the tip as I’ll never get a box like these but super cool to watch 😎 💫💫💫 A triple angels card could be worth the chase….. Ryan, trout, shohei 💯💯💯💯
cool that the triple was hit by the guy that got the whole box and you weren't forced to figure out who got it. 2 people would have been pissed for sure.
I dont collect but ive watched alot of these unboxing videos..It seems that the cards in that will be worth tons in 20yrs will only be found in 2500 dollar packs. Its a far cry from what kids were doing years ago.."Where did you get that?" Oh you had to spend 2500 a pack in 2023..Thats nuts lol
Jabs, this may or may not be a dumb question, but in small quantity boxes like these, what happens if your team doesn't get pulled? Do you still pay but get nothing? Or do you get reimbursed due to getting nothing?
The Tripel Auto has to be a 1/1! That is the only one that I have ever seen with all these of those possible future Hall of Famers on the same card. The Cal Ripken Jr./Eddie Murray could of been a 1/1 has well. I do think that $2500 is a little too high for that product, I would like to see it around $1800 - $2000 max a box.
How can anyone afford to collect anymore. Im done. Enjoy, Im now donating all my sports cards to charity and getting out of this madness. Its no longer and frankly looking back over 30 years of collecting...was never worth it.
Ouch. For $7000, I would expect more. Yes the triple and double auto was cool as was the Bagwell, Clemens and Rivera autos also cool. But I want to see more old vintage hall of famers. Game used bats and jerseys from guys who played in the 50s, 60s and earlier. Cut autos of high level hall guys. This is the product that should have those items in it.
Its pathetic that all people care about is the monetary value. The fisk and the papi were the best. Go Red Sox! Collect for the right reasons. Those boxes are a complete rip off
I could see topps charging $12,000 for this case in 2 years and $17,000 in 4 years and when there customers will finally say enough is enough and stop purchasing?
I like baseball cards but let’s keep things in perspective, we can’t take any cards when we die , it’s not even worth that amount of money . The cards are not old and there are alot of autographs out there . 😮
I'm willing to bet NONE of those cards exceed $200.00............ If you're paying $2,500.00 per box or $312.50+ per pack, those cards better be ##/05 or less....
You can open all the damn boxes you want to but you will never get your money's worth 😢 out of these card's because you want ever get what they are asking for them!!
This is what's wrong with the Hobby of card collecting!!! Ultimately this is the beginning of the end of the greatest Hobby ever and it's a shame that this Hobby has gotten to the point of no return!!
As a cheapskate and junk wax aficionado I think the only way these are worth $2500 a piece is if they had an autographed card and $2499 cash inside
I’m very thankful for ppl who pay to break these boxes, so that I can buy their singles off ebay without paying 2k
I am 💯 I could buy all the cards in all the boxes from ebay for less than the price of 1 box.
The only reason you're buying singles is because box breakers have priced you out of the market.
@@locodagodbx81for real. If Topps and Panini know breakers can sell spots for way more than their product is worth then they don't give a single f if collectors can afford it.
Every card in a 2000$ box should be autographed.
All 1/1 autos and relics.
An all white patch is ridiculous for that price point
There is a point where all hobbies go to extremes. This has to be it for baseball cards. Crazy expensive stuff.
The Riley looked to be out of 15
What do you think the total value was from that 7k case? 1-2k possibly? Those boxes should be like 700 each.
Never gonna happen as long as breakers can sell individual teams for reasonable prices
Hopefully they drop in the future
You can complain about the price, or just enjoy the video and the very cool cards. I choose the latter.

As a Dodgers Fan I absolutely love The Freddie Freeman gold fram auto patch 🔥🔥🔥
Mariano Rivera, Ripkin and Bagwell were fire as well.
Yeah - blue & white goes good with gold!
With that money you couldve bought graded cards that will increase in value.
Killebrew had the best signature. He's also the reason that many guys had really good signatures as it was something he stressed the importance of to everyone who came up through the Twins system.
No signature was better than Mr. Killebrews!
He was a hell of a nice guy too.
i get nervous for these high end boxes and it isnt even my money lol. nice triple auto !
Amazing product. Yeah buddy! Love Rivera’s signature. The older guys have great penmanship!
Loved the video! But question, if the last box wasn’t a personal box how would have you chosen who received the card since it was 3 teams on one card?
Was wondering the same thing. Felt like Jabs dodged a potential bullet :)
just randomize between the 3 teams on the card....
Good question! Thank goodness it was personal. We would’ve done a pack war for it
So glad I can just live baseball cards through You vicariously Jabs 😉👍🇺🇲
Love the Dave and Adam’s shoutout Jabs! I’m a breaker there and a long term watcher of yours and mention you often on stream, you’re the best man!
As far as best looking signature in baseball, I have to give the nod to Andre Dawson.
Imo Walker Buehler is up there with him. They’re both beautiful
I don’t blame Topps at all. They saw that there are suckers that would pay it so why not?
That triple auto is awesome. By far the best card!

That was a three-pack 7,000 complete kick in the freaking nuts

Thank god the triple was in the personal box not the random team
The /16/ on the Ortiz looks like it's part of a date.

how much in value per pack? i might buy a case

Blasphemy, having Clemens on the Jays.

It’s an autograph lottery.
You win some, you lose some.
6:01 what’s up with the worn out sharpies used on a couple of those autos? That’s unfortunate.
The Adley looked really faint.
So if the last box was in the team give away, who would have gotten the triple auto from three different teams?
