It really is a shame that B3 Bayo has a completely different backstory to B1&2 Bayo(s). I mean, I wouldn't have minded if that game was about developing that backstory and showing how Bayo and Luka developed their relationship now that it was under a different premise, but alas, that's not the story we got.

Right? I'm a BayoLuka shipper but after allowing myself to comprehend and digest what the hell Bayonetta 3 was, I feel like the: *"we are fated to be together"* bs really ruined their dynamic for me.
I wish we had more time to see their relationship develop over the course of the games. The little things really would've helped with the pay off of the third game.

- Bayonetta meeting Luka in "The Gates Of Hell"
- Assuming the two are in an established relationship Luka would whistle and compliment everytime you change Bayonetta's skin.
- Cutscenes that imply Luka and Bayonetta go on frequent outings/dates
- Her helping him with his journalism; indulging SOME of his curiosities about Umbran Witches.
-Bayonetta helping him take care of Claire, Trish, Silvia and Ami (his pet cats)
- Luka carrying some of Bayonetta's shopping bags; keeping pace with her; they walk and talk while Enzo is trailing behind them cursing and struggling with the rest of her bags and boxes.
- Luka FINALLY being able to play up that suave, debonair James Bond-esque hero when he catches Bayonetta *(she let him of course.)*
