Hi George!
I took out the mmcx cables of my final e5000 using mmcx assist tool to solder a 4.4 mm plug to it , but now it's not going in , no matter how much force I apply to it.I am afraid that it will break before going in. What to do??
Will excessive force also degrade the iem's sound quality??

The MMCX connectors either work or they don't, if you force too much, it may break them, or they may become loose, but if they will work, it will be okay. They are super tight, but you have to push absolutely straight, if there is an angle , it can break the connector
