80s had the best music.Just been listening to a 4.5 hours playlist of songs from 1985 the same year this song was #1 in Australia.Great songs all of them.Not like the crap that passes for music these days.I feel sorry for the kids of today and what they are being fed these days.Most of it is crap and it should be recognized for what it is.The sad thing is the kids think its great.Its not its tuneless crap.Not all but most of it. The music these days doesn't stick with u like music back in the day.Hear it once and u forget about it.The great songs are the ones from back in the day that u can't get out of your head after u hear them.

At that time, beautiful voice timbres were valued (generally it was a "velvety" vocal timbre, too beautiful to hear), musical instruments were actually played (musical technological resources were not used as much as they are today) and , in general, the aim was, above all, the harmony of the songs. The musicality, in its excellence, was verified. And this is real music. The most beautiful international slow songs and the most beautiful national slow songs are from this decade. How good it was and continues to be wonderful, listen to quality music like this, they are timeless music.

Had (thankfully) long forgotten about it. An ordeal then, and forever. I see, though, that the poor singer died somewhat early. [I've only got five years to go, on that ratio].
