Aechmea correia-araujoi Growth Care & Culture

Sorry I know, it has been a minute!
This is about a bromeliad called Aechmea correia-araujoi a very beautiful species bromeliad endemic to the States of Bahia and Espirito Santo on Brazils Atlantic coastal forest. Another gorgeous bromeliad to have in your collection for sure.

This Aechmea is grown beautifully.
Amazing.
At first glance it looks similar to A.orlandiana, but I was surprised to see that the inflorescences are completely different.

Hey there, I am glad that you found this useful. This is actually Aechmea correia-araujoi and not A. orlandiana though they are close the growth requirements are somewhat different. Whereas the former prefers a somewhat higher humidity and more dappled position the latter can handle harsh sunlight provided humidity is somewhat 'pleasant'. As bromeliads go of course.
