How does this channel not have more people subscribed?? I just discovered your playthroughs and the quality that you put out is simply amazing! I have already (binge) watched several of them and you guys are awesome at giving the viewers a feel for the game. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This game snuck up on me. Had never heard of it before this week’s marathon. Love, Love, Love the chaining together of “ecos” affects, turning of cards once they “eco” and the cube placing mechanism (simple yet complex in it’s own right). And found it rather humorous when the sharks “took” out Andrew’s rhinos!!!
I was originally not keen on this one when I first heard about it, but after watching how the game plays, it's definitely on my watch list. The fact that some actions are simultaneous helps keep play time down and there isn't so much going on that you can't have a feel for the other players' strategies.
Man, this game was completely off my radar but after this play-Through it's gone to the top of the wishlist! Looks like great fun to be able to do combotastic moves... looks like Gizmos on a LOT of steroids!! This week of content from you guys is getting me hyped!!!
He develops multiple games at a time. I first playtested this over a year ago and Edge of Darkness about 2 years ago and they were both already pretty well developed at those stages. He has about 4 other games currently in various stages of playtesting.
Around 50:50 Edward mis-interpreted a rule about replacing tiles. If you replace a water tile with a land tile, then all water-only animal tokens are discarded. The hippo can live on both land and sea, so it would remain on the tile.
Thanks for this. Wasn’t on my radar but definitely want to play now. Looks pretty. And did I hear the click clack of acrylic tiles? (Though I do wonder why they didn’t just use a deck of cards)
An interesting game. I will be looking for more info as it gets closer to publication. I had not heard of it before this. Seems to remind me of BIOS: Megafauna, Dominant Species, and Sentinels of the Multiverse mashed together.
I would throw in Innovation as third parent: it too is a tableau builder, it too has many different symbols and it can create big chain reactions. That, or maybe Gizmos, which has slightly more chill chain reactions.
This reminds me somehow of Silver and Gold but it is Draw & Place? (; With the added mechanisms of map building and engine building this is some kind of evolution of the system. Looks neat.
Pretty neat game, but between all the shuffling around and free extra resources I'd get pretty confused. :) My group would turn this into a 3 hour game for sure due to AP
The game looks really, really interesting (and beautiful, but I really didn't need to say that)! Loving the "Streaming through Gen Con" series! Thanks for doing what you do!
So I like that start player is called a Harbinger. Cause given their job to draw the element tile, the title fits! However, it's that very mechanic that is also a turn-off. That flavor of randomness is not usually my cup of tea as it makes it more difficult to plan ahead which, for me actually deters me from taking risks. So while conceptually this one seems pretty cool, I don't think it would fit well with my tastes these days
This was a fun stream to watch, thanks. I don't think I'll consider Ecos for me; just too light on its own, as compared to Evolution (card game) when I want the nature-evolving vibe, despite how dissimilar that one is. And if I were to be drafting I'd rather go with some of the other draft-oriented titles like TfM. Still, it's beautiful and I wouldn't say no to a play!
I have the feeling that this game is in a rather crowded genre, but it does seem original nonetheless. The theme seems to be gaining popularity nowadays. I like the simultaneous action when it works (i.e. it does not lead to everyone playing their own game and not paying attention to what other players are doing). I might have to take a good look a this one when it hits retail.
This game looks like it could be relaxing to play. Not overly complicated. Are the tiles you draw made from the same material in Teotihuacan? One more question, how does this scale for two players?
Looks super fun! I'm not a fan of reading text upside down and sideways all the time. Could you just mark which leaf you are on? Or does rotating your cards serve another purpose?

I’m liking the look of this one! Thanks for sharing.

Another I hadn’t heard anything about. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
Looks like a fun game, never heard of it before. Thanks!
Look pretty good. Thanks for the teach and play!
Looks really neat, thanks for sharing!
Never heard of this until the livestream. Looks like a good family game. Fun.
Reminds me of Augustus, but more interesting
I think the same. A more engaging version of Rise of Augustus
Some pretty sick combos were triggered.
On my - to buy list for sure now!
I really liked this one -- will look for it later this year.
Thanks for the stream
I really like the look of those tiles. Great color pallet.

Love the art on the box!
Looks fun! Great playthrough as always!!
Production value on this looks great! Gonna have to refer back to this video when I get this :)
Thanks for the great stream was fun to watch
I would've skipped right past this one if not for @heavycardboard Looks like a awesome game!
Another title I was totally unaware of and would like to play it right away.
Another one that I haven't seen. I like tile-laying games and this looks interesting, would love to give it a try.
My group loves tableau builders so this looks like something I'll be getting.

Nice teach. Has some interesting mechanisms.
I like the combos in this game and for some reason the game is very aesthetically pleasing to me. This one is going on my list!
I like the map building along with tableau building. Definitely want to pick it up when it's available.
Looks very interesting. I'd love to play this game if I get a chance
Love the box art!
Wishlisted after this playthrough :)
Thanks for the stream, also wasn't on the radar!
Looking forward to taking my oldest to Gen Con sometime
Thanks for the stream. Interesting play. John D Clair putting out quite a bit these days, seems like
He develops multiple games at a time. I first playtested this over a year ago and Edge of Darkness about 2 years ago and they were both already pretty well developed at those stages. He has about 4 other games currently in various stages of playtesting.
The tiles in this are pretty cool.
Game looks great on the table
This looks really interesting.
Around 50:50 Edward mis-interpreted a rule about replacing tiles. If you replace a water tile with a land tile, then all water-only animal tokens are discarded. The hippo can live on both land and sea, so it would remain on the tile.
Once again another game you have interested me in! Thanks for the play through!
Bummer I missed this one. It has definitely made it onto my Maybe list. The theme is what is really appealing though. I don't have a map builder yet.
This looks pretty cool.
Thank you for the stream! That game wasn't under my radar and now is :)
I do like the map-building aspect of this
What a great looking game
Looks good
Great to see a playthrough of this game.Look forward to checking this one out!
This one looks interesting to me!
Never heard about this one before and now I'm interested. Tks
Never heard of this before. Thanks for showing it off!
Looks interesting.
Like the art design on this one.
I can't begin to say how much I love this game. I don't know how I had never heard about this before. Ordered!
Looks fun
I was very interested in this one when I heard about it. So glad you guys did a playthrough. Thanks!
Great to see a playthrough of this game. I have been eyeing it. I'll probably be picking this one up.
Thanks for the video as always. This one looks interesting. I had not heard of it.
Thanks for the stream, so many new games!
Interesting. I had heard about this one but didn't really have any interest until now. Thanks!
Wow, by the end there were some really big combos going on. I enjoyed the theme.
I definitely have too less nature themed board games in my collection. Possible candidate for me to check out at Essen this year.
Hexes and Dominant Species style theme? I'm interested.
I just had a friend recommend this one to me. Glad so be able to see it played so I can make up my mind!
Ive never heard about this one but it seems a pretty good game
Yeah! I'm all in for a lighter game with a Dominant Species vibe!
i loved Augustus/ rise of Augustus but felt i wanted more from that , i'm thinking this may give it to me. This is now on my buy/want to buy list
Interesting game but maybe a little light for my group. Still cool to see the game played out!
That’s a good looking game. The bingo mechanic is interesting
This game turned out to be way more interesting than I was expecting - thanks for the stream!
I'm not sure this is one for me, but I appreciate you streaming it for us!
Thanks for this. Wasn’t on my radar but definitely want to play now. Looks pretty. And did I hear the click clack of acrylic tiles? (Though I do wonder why they didn’t just use a deck of cards)
Thank you for this one. I hadn't heard of it and it exactly the sort of game I love.
Haven't heard of this before! Thanks for the play through.
Reminds me a little of Rise of Augustus, but with a lot more interesting things going on.
An interesting game. I will be looking for more info as it gets closer to publication. I had not heard of it before this.
Seems to remind me of BIOS: Megafauna, Dominant Species, and Sentinels of the Multiverse mashed together.
This reminds me of a big box version of Oaxaca
This looks like a boatload of fun. It’s nice to hear the players laughing one moment then glory to romeing the next.
I hadn’t heard of this one until now. Thanks for the play through!
Seems like Bingo and Terraforming Mars had a baby. Count me in.
I would throw in Innovation as third parent: it too is a tableau builder, it too has many different symbols and it can create big chain reactions. That, or maybe Gizmos, which has slightly more chill chain reactions.
I love it!
I first saw it on another channel and it felt dull, but after watching you guys I want it!
Well done!
Once again you are forcing me to want to get this game sooner than later. Tom, mentioned, went to rahdo watched his video, and now this one.
This reminds me somehow of Silver and Gold but it is Draw & Place? (; With the added mechanisms of map building and engine building this is some kind of evolution of the system. Looks neat.
Looks fun! I think this one will work well in my group, on the "Probably buy at Essen" list now
Solid stream! Look forward to checking this one out!
A cheetah trying to eat a hippo in real life would end very badly for the cheetah
Game looks great on the table. Have a feeling it’ll be a game I hope a friend gets and then I’ll end up wanting a copy myself.
Pretty neat game, but between all the shuffling around and free extra resources I'd get pretty confused. :) My group would turn this into a 3 hour game for sure due to AP
I love nature themes in games. It's a pretty cool game, can't wait to play it myself
The game looks really, really interesting (and beautiful, but I really didn't need to say that)! Loving the "Streaming through Gen Con" series! Thanks for doing what you do!
Thanks for showing us what looks to be a very promising game.

Thank you for this video. I watched another video after seeing this presented at GenCon and would have passed on it if I didn’t look further.
Thanks for the play through!Pre-ordered for this game to pick-up at @Essen. Looking forward to it!
This was a fun stream to watch, thanks. I like the combo building aspect of this game. This is supposed to be coming out later this year right?
This game looks like it could be relaxing to play. Not overly complicated. Are the tiles you draw made from the same material in Teotihuacan?
One more question, how does this scale for two players?
I play mostly 2p games, and I'm intrigued. This one looks like it'd be best at 2 to me, less chaotic.
Thanks for that stream. It was a lot of sun to watch
Looks super fun! I'm not a fan of reading text upside down and sideways all the time. Could you just mark which leaf you are on? Or does rotating your cards serve another purpose?
Map building is always fun, but not sure if this is for me. Thanks for another great video!
Looks good for an AEG game
Interesting.
I love how the board looked near the end of the game. Probably my favorite thing about tile games like this.
