hey! so you have to be scored on you competing in sport. I did gymnastics so i had to bring videos of it into my college for them to see and they graded me off that. I’m not sure what the percentage it is of your grade, sorry. you also have coursework and the actual exam papers

hey so my sixthform wasn’t a formal one, most people wore comfy clothes like tracksuits so i really wouldn’t stress too much… is the sixthform attached to your school or is it a completely different place?

I really shouldn't be doing A levels. I was having panic attacks in year 9 because the work was too hard for me. YEAR 9! Why am I going to year 12? I won't be able to handle it
As long as you are doing subjects you enjoy and did okay in at GCSE, you should be all right and some people prefer a mix of arts and essay/ science subjects to make it easier (all of mine are essay based, humanities subjects). Just take each day as it comes and if it really gets bad you can drop out I think at AS (tho it may be different in different schools) level. It will be harder, but just work smartly and your best is all you can give. @@caitlin4265 if your school is letting you take it, then a 6 must be good enougth. Unless I get art history out side of school I am taking English literature and I got a 7 at Gcse. Usually the rule of thumb is that you need a grade 6 in the subject you want to study. I guess you will only really know once you get their or you could try a practice question or look at the curriculum. Are you doing an enrolment assignment, if so use it if it similar to what you will do on the course to give you an idea of if the subject is for you. That way it will inform you if you will be okay at the subject. I always say do what you enjoy with a nod to the future Edit: sorry if this was long winded.

It depends what you find difficult and most subjects contain some writing at A-level I believe. Some people find art and maths easier (not me). I'm better at essay based subjects. @@dannileyland i just came in this country last year and i hadn't got the time to study too many gcses so my school let me do the basic 5. i got a grade 6 in math given by school as the final grade. after lockdown my college informs me about a test a day before it and expects me to revise in one night. i failed the algebra test so this is the situation ;-;
@@dannileyland I just want to ask if this idea is good or not: I'm thinking to retake my math gcse next summer and then take math a level instead of one of my subjects so that I have the combination of physics and math by 3 years from now. Is this a good idea??
