One of Hitler’s homes in the Alps (the Eagle’s Nest) is still there and is a tourist attraction with a restaurant in it. I have a picture of my grandmother standing by the fireplace inside the Eagle’s Nest from when she visited my uncle while he was stationed in Germany during the 1970’s.
His art was ok, imo mediocre and not fit for a professional artist. The Vienna academy advised him to pursue a career in architecture because he draw the buildings very well.
