It’s been 20 years since the Canberra Raiders 1994 Grand Final 36-12 victory over the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs. Big League TV sits down with coach Tim Sheens to reveal the true story behind the selection of grand final hero Paul Osborne.
Raiders prop Paul Osborne was about to board the plane to finish his career in England found himself as a late inclusion for the suspended John Lomax. Osborne laid on two tries in the opening 20 minutes and played an important role in the grand final victory and one of the proudest moments in the Raiders history.
