Please shoe how you mount the grip to a tripod when the strap is attached. I have found that the thread in the strap adapter is not deep enough to screw in a tripod.
I picked one up and it works as described. However, I am probably going to send it back. Which is a damn shame because I really wanted to like this product. But if your phone has a decent protective case you will likely have to remove it in order to securely clamp it into the Shiftcam. I have a Samsung S20 inside of a SupCase UB Pro case and it is just a tad too thick to be held securely in the Shiftcam. Plus the wireless charger does not work with the case. I have been searching for a thinner case that offers close protection to the SupCase but haven't found one yet. And the SupCase has been great so I don't want a lesser version and chance cracking the phone, which is far more expensive than the Progrip. I say this because I truly wish that ShiftCam had made the clamp for the ProGrip just a bit higher to accommodate a phone with a decent case. This seems to be a common problem with many Gimbals and grips for camera phones.
Did recharge the batteries of the grip work? The grip itself doesn't use much power but if you used it to charge your phone, it won't last that long. Also, from factory, these batteries are usually pretty empty and should be charged 100% before use.

The way you put your phone in first time I can bet if you wanted to shoot at wide angle it would be blocked by the grip. Then in later video you moved it out so probably wide angle is not obstructed. Not telling about that is kinda deceitful. If i was going to get a grip like that I would want it to zoom in and out through maybe software besides the big grip and the vertical to standard shooting modes. Just my 2 cents on that piece. Not for me for that price point. If it was lets say $80 or a bit less I'd go for it.
Extremely overpriced for what you get. I tried to return it and was told all sales are final(took them 9 days to respond to my email). DON’T WASTE YOUR TTIME OR MONEY

I got one but how do you pair the damn thing? It won’t pair.
Mine worked for a few days then stopped working. Couldnt turn it on . Phone does not pick it up as bluetooth device. No lights come on on shiftcam.

Can a phone with a case attached be used with this grip?

So it’s for use with your right hand only?
yes, it is designed for right handed people only. There's no option for left handed people as far as I know
Almost every camera is right handed.. the grip followed the same trend. 🤷🏻♂️
@@tejashweer.khadka9366 - Makes sense. I was just wondering if they decided to add the ability to variate from it.
