Agree, after seeing everything that goes into it. But we are Canadian, so we need to add +36% to all costs because of the exchange difference. We wouldn’t do anything differently though! Thanks for watching :)
Yes the costs add up for sure! We did the math on what a wedding would cost here in Toronto and it was roughly the same, so we decided to go for it! A vow renewal at Disney is such an amazing idea. We hope to do that one day in the future as well. It’s a lot less expensive when the word “wedding” isn’t involved…and a lot less pressure!
Congratulations!! It looks like your wedding was beautiful! The only thing I would worry about is not having the guests I would want there the most, because they couldn’t afford it. Just a round trip ticket from Toronto to Orlando would be around $375 (at the least) and then there is the hotel, food, and the cost of park tickets (if they wanted to go to the parks on another day). Those “extra” expenses could easily be over $2,000 for a three day stay. Did you have very many guests not be able to attend because of the financial side of it?
That was definitely a concern of ours as well! We provided tips to all our guests and didn’t pressure any of them to stay on Disney resort or attend any of the parks. Some of our guests rented AirBnB’s together and some only went to one theme park as an example. Theres also tons of activities you can do on Disney property without paying a single penny (eg going to Disney Springs, visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge hotel to see the animals etc). For airfare, we also monitored the prices weekly and messaged friends and family when the prices were low so they knew when to buy their tickets. Hope that helps!
Congrats!! You two are adorable. Honestly after seeing the price it's actually better than I thought hahaha. Weddings at GTA are SO EXPENSIVE like you need to pay $8000 to rent the venue but chairs are not even included lol
Congratulations!! Your wedding looks amazing!! I honestly thought the cost would be much more than that. Weddings are definitely expensive. I loved the video!
Awh thank you so much, Nicole! Yes, it’s surprising how comparable a Disney wedding can be! There’s a lot of great options that could cut the price in half as well. Appreciate your comment and support ❤️
Love these videos, so informative! And you’re right, there really isn’t a lot of Disney wedding information videos on TH-cam and I’m sure your videos will help a lot of people. Fellow Canadian here, I assume these prices are in US $? Thank you for sharing! 💛
Thanks for the kind words and always great to see a fellow Canadian! Yes prices are in USD. If you are planning a wedding we’d recommend looking into a no Foreign Exchange (FX) fee credit card to pay. That way you save the 2.5% fee most credit cards charge for USD transactions. Really adds up for such a large amount!
Congratulations ‼️‼️ Curious… after your beautiful reception were your guests allowed to go inside of the park? And if you wanted the Cinderella carriage how much more would that have cost? Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching! For guests to enter any park during normal operations, they must have a ticket. We made Epcot an optional event afterwards. Current the cost of a Cinderella’s Carriage is $5,000-6,000!
"We saved $25,000" is such #GirlMath. I'm living for it. Love the breakdown, btw. I'm always so curious about how expensive "expensive" is for Disney weddings. EDIT: Just got to the final price tag. I know y'all were thoughtful about your expenses, and I'm not sure how many guests you had. But $41,000 is not any more insane than typical wedding prices.
You know how it goes…you enter those gates and you’re a millionaire all of a sudden! Then you come home to a sad stark reality of eating ramen noodles out of a styrofoam cup for a month 😭
Congratulations Friends, This was very informative and is something to look into for my partner and I. Thank you for sharing your Disney Wedding with us.
Congratulations, wishing you both happiness! Your wedding looked so magical!! ✨ worth it means a lot of different things to everyone, but if it makes you both happy and you can afford it then do it! I would have loved getting married in Disney!!
For the reception where you able to play in your own music? Or did Disney pipe in park music? I’m having my reception in Disney in January 2025 and was hoping to know your experiences with not having a DJ. Thanks☺️
Congrats on your January 2025 wedding! Depending on your location, you can have your own phone plugged and use your own music playlist. However if your reception is in a public area like ours (Sea Breeze Point) then you can only choose a set playlist provided by Disney since there’s guests around. They will let you add songs for things like your first dance, parent dances etc.
You’re welcome, and thanks for watching! We had a lot of items - cheeseburger spring rolls, ahi tuna, fresh fruit, yogurt, Mickey waffles, an omelette station, pesto salmon, grilled chicken, Ohana noodles, fresh veggies, breakfast sausage, quiche, scrambled eggs, salad, and dinner rolls!
That is so fancy!!! It looks so nice! I spent 41k on mine and we made it mostly limited and not too much add on.....also booked it with covid pricing lol
It’s shockingly ‘affordable’ to have a Disney wedding, especially if you pick something outside of the Magic Kingdom! You can definitely do it on a budget. Congratulations on your wedding! Hope you had the best day ❤️
@@derekchen7855 yup we had ours in Florida. The prices for Disney wedding venues in Florida, California, and Hawaii are all on their website so it’s fun to just check out the site to see what the going rate is
We’ve never been on a cruise before so we never considered it. Cruise and island weddings do look amazing and we’d love to go on a Disney cruise one day!
My parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. I wish the same for yours... One recommendation is for you to consider a cruise ship travel. I would recommend a Royal Caribbean cruise from PORT Canaveral - maybe the Allure of the Seas. Look for ships that are in the OASIS or Quantum class ships. Good Luck. Safe travels. *JSGSFO
So what's the deal with Panda Travels? I didn't find any other socials nor websites? Do you two have a travel agency? Looking for the background behind starting the channel.
Hi there! We are just a couple who always wanted a TH-cam channel! We both work full time and do this on this side now. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to post a video about us and why we got into this, so make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it. We will also show off our dog 👀
There’s no set list of characters so it’s definitely worth a chat with the wedding consultant. I’d say the most popular ones are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy. We’ve also seen forums where Pluto, Chip and Dale, even hyenas from Lion King are available. The best part for us was choosing which outfits they would wear :). Thanks for watching!
Great question. The one we did at Universal Hollywood includes park admission, unlimited express pass, guide, and free valet parking. It was $500 per person when we went but prices fluctuate. Only thing not included at Universal Hollywood was our hotel stay. Universal Orlando has a slightly different price structure and I believe they require you to have an extra park ticket on top of the VIP ticket.
@@CarloRufinoSabusap very true! I just wish I had 41K for my wedding 🥹🫣 I’m being a hater clearly. I respect them for being kind. They probably had a memorable wedding!
8 hours of photography for $4500 is actually not bad considering what where you are

Thank you so much for this info for a "regular Disney" wedding 😅. All other info I've found have been VERY princessy and VERY expensive!

So true 😂. We should just rename it Disney math
