I think that Linhardt and Flayn's supports are funnier. Like, he was so close to figure out who she really is and then suggests to have kids with her for further Crest research.
Let’s be real, most if not all of Flayn’s supports are weird or hilarious in one way or another. My personal favorite is Flayn and Raphael, where they just yell at each other the whole time and call it “battle cries”

Half of these are just "the characters don't interact," and it makes me think of the famous ellipses support in fates. Awakening has some weird supports, like when henry and miriel decide she should get pregnant so that they can create a spell to make babies.
Haha I had to go read this and that is definitely a very weird support chain. But I mean Awakening does have some other strange ones, like Noire and Laurent's S support

Ok but the best Ellipses support is in fe7 in the support between Matthew and Jaffar. It's literally just Matthew screaming at Jaffar how much he hates him, while Jaffar just doesn't respond
I wish Dorcas had some more characterization in the games, all we really know about him is that he is satisfied with his life, doesn't take pride in his strength and really loves his wife. I really like him as a character for all of the above reasons, but I wish we got more of him.
You could argue that's the charm of him too though. Like he's "just some guy", and it's cool having more "normal" characters in the cast. Not everyone needs to be a war hero, a very tragic character, or a character with a complex past.

We all like characters that we can relate to. Edit: I see character interactions as character development, because interacting with other sorts of personalities can bring out other facets of themselves. I.e a typical down2earth kind of guy becoming a revenge-hungry hidden-psycho because I recruited one of the enemy members into my army; since the down2earth guy having history with the recently joined enemy member. You get my point.
Raphael and Shamir, Raphael and Dimitri, Raphael and Bernadetta's C Support...now that I think about it, Raphael with everyone except Ignatz (Raph is still best boy)
I think my favorite support where nothing regarding development happened. it would be Robin (M) and Vaike. Vaike is trying to peep on the girls, Robin tries to stop him, and both are run off by Sully's horse. this literally happens again in the B and A support with Robin being mistaken by Sully's horse as a pervert.
IIRC, Arthur and Setsuna (The unluckiest characters in Fates) have a support chain where they desperately attempt to do basic chores around camp but fail miserably due to their intense calamity magnetism.

I love the "..." supports, and was overjoyed when Dedue and Byleth's supports started that way, because then I got to participate in a "..." conversation.
"Chrom wants you" It's been 7 years since first seeing this support and I'm still not over how amazingly hilarious/absurd/crack-fic-like this support was.
I really like Luthier and Delthea's support because all 3 supports actually have an underlying theme that goes unspoken, but is so simple and powerful in its message; real family may not always get along nor may they always know the right thing to say, but that does not mean they don't still care and love one another. Luthier is such a lovable goof that does not understand social interactions at all, but all his actions, misguided as they may be, are done out of care for his sister. Delthea for her part knows her brother is a goof and that he can be annoying and overbearing as all heck at times, but that does not mean she can't be supportive of her brother when he is genuinely trying to be better in the areas he falls short in. Delthea is essentially communicating, "Luthier is a dork, but he's also my brother and it's nice to know he's trying to be better."
It was a full conversation in the Japanese version, but I guess Nintendo Treehouse thought it’d be funny... It’s more sad that they were too lazy to translate it, honestly.

In three houses, Claude has a few wack supports He over analyzes Annette's silly songs He constantly bickers and pretends to get lightheaded to avoid talking with Ingrid Constantly makes fun of lysithea (transitioning from serious to silly seamlessly) Say Hilda can "grasp him any day" And of course, Balthus trying to get with his mom For a lord he has quite a lot of gags in his supports
Dimitri and Sylvain's was super funny to me since I got it during the war phase so I have a 2mts tall, eye-patch wearing Dimitri hiding on Sylvain's room from a woman he wooed while begging Sylvain to help him while he hides on his room
I would have loved to sew Luthier and Alm as a support chain. Also Kliff deserved more! Kliff and Gray or Kliff and Lukas could have been fun. Heck, Kliff and Firsyth would be fun considering their personalities.
I remember Panne and Frederick's support in Awakening being hilarious, mostly because of the notion that an absolute chad like Freddy would find a horse-sized bunny frightening and intimidating to the extreme. Also the Laurent/Robin one is pretty absurd, but also cute. Dude just wants to show how his tome makes rainbows appear, let him enjoy it.
It had the potential to be a nice support chain, but Bartre is such a one-note character in FE7 that half of the dialogue is just Bartre asking if Canas is calling him stupid and Canas saying no
Gray and Tobin in Shadows of Valentia. It might be the great voice acting, but I love all their interactions, not just the supports. But it always makes me laugh when Tobin says in the B, “Oh yeah? You wanna go clown?” And then Gray suggests taking out that frustration on some enemy soldiers.
Gonzalez and Trec. In a video where you're not even sure if the characters even know each other's names, it's weird that you didn't include the support that was literally: *Trying to remember someone's name: the trilogy*
Luthier deserves more love, hands down! To be honest, I couldn't stand his sister. And I only kept her around because she's really strong with magic. But I didn't like the way she treated Luthier, whereas, yes. He was overbearing, but he cared about her. He wanted everyone to love Delthea and see how great she was, despite him not getting the same treatment from the rest. Isn't that selfless?! And Delthea just tells him to go get some friends if he wants to advice her over anything?! Man. Something that was the nail on the coffin for me, it's something Delthea says: "It's not my fault they work twice as hard and only end up half as good!" Lady... No. the soldiers in Alm's army work as hard as you and if they are not as good as you, then don't throw them under the bus like that. And I get she gets frustrated with her brother. But I find how she speaks to him way worse than Luthier's overbearing behavior. She is rude and disrespectful to him, who only worries about her. Sorry, but no. I'll be on Luthier side on this matter. Thank you.
Yeah, same. I get Delthea is young and all, but her bratty attitude frankly frustrates me to no end. Whenever I go back to Shadows of Valentia, I just give her the Makalov treatment and kill her in Tatarrah’s map. Frankly, I don’t feel like dealing with her supports with Luthier all over again.
Luthier and Delthea's support is decent but I don't like that it only ends off with Luthier trying to change for the better as if Delthea's was in the right of the whole argument. Cause Luthier at least had a more genuine reasoning for his strictness.
Sure. He has a genuine reason. However, there's one problem with expecting a mutual understanding... Delthea knows what she is, and a scolding from Luthier isn't what she cares about. Moreso finding it annoying. However, Delthea is right. If Luthier thinks that he could scold another in relation to social skills, then it's indeed rather hypocritical of him. Ofc, he's affected by these words. So really... It just comes down to Delthea not caring what others say, whereas Luthier most certainly does.
@@blueblade6174Delthea would never admit that she cares about her brother unless someone like Clair tricks her into admitting it, or if Luthier dies. She'd appear to be annoyed at him, yet she'd still call him "Lu". Siblings don't need to state outright that they care about each other. Because it's obvious that they do without having to say so. The subtleties are in the details. That's just how their, or most sibling relationships, work.
Okay but Dimitri and Raphael's C-support is one of my favorites, just because the first time I saw it, all I could imagine was the runaway cart scene from Les Mis with Dimitri as Valjean and it was really funny.
One goofy support I like is Donnel & Panne's in Awakening, where he keeps accidentally catching her in his hunting traps. I think it's a great support between two of my favorites in that game, their S support is also really cute to boot Honourable mention goes to Gregor, he is just a joy to read, and can make anything entertaining
I do love when FE supports go full comedy. They're usually some of my favorites. Gaius and Libra is a standout for me, I remember absolutely losing it at that one.
Female robin is hilarious as she has an attitude problem with many people. Aversa her and robin get into fights all the time. Lon qu you see she acts crazy to get lon qu adjusted to her normal self and priam is all embarrassed being near her. Laurent is strange with how he likes being yelled at or inigo with nah as she wants to be called old. Xane is funny with tiki as he teases her and that though me for a loop first time. Echoes many of them are either forgetable or funny for the situation.
I loved the support with Takumi and Leo not necessarily because it's funny but more like they bicker constantly about how they'll never be friends and yet that's exactly what happens
I don't remember most of the Dorethea and Hubert relation, but I did get them to marry on accident, and the cutscene where Dorethea is like "I want to get to know you better, want to get married" is funny enough that I had to show it to my friends.
Honestly...I think all Raphael supports with the other students in three houses (besides Marianne and Ignatz) a pretty pointless but funny. Edit: Oh! I forgot about his support with Bernadetta. That’s also a meaningful one.
Once again I will point out my favorite support convo moment. Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, Bartre and Canas C support Bartre: Dark arts? What’s that?! Canas: Ah, well it’s quite interesting, really. You see, there are several types of magic in this cosmos. Monks practice light magic, mages practice anima magic, and we shamans practice elder magic, which some call dark! Bartre: Nguuoooohhhh! Canas: W-What’s the matter?! Bartre: Nnng. Hard words make my head hurt! Canas: I-I apologize. Did I use... hard words? Bartre: You callin’ me stupid!? Canas: No, err, I never meant-No. Bartre: Right. Well, that’s all right, then. I’m just going to punch that rock over there until my head feels better... Canas: Righto. Have fun... I guess...
And Hinoka agreeing to marry him in their S-support because "they say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer, and what's closer than marriage?"
Path of Radiance has two more hilarious support chains: Mia/Ilyana and Rhys/Kieran. The first one has Ilyana just passing by Mia while she's training in the C and B supports, but the A one...oh, boy. Mia finds Ilyana passed out on the ground, but when she tries to go get help, Ilyana, dying of hunger, tries to eat Mia's foot. The second...must be seen to be believed, shall we say.
Nah, Delthea is a brat. She talks like she's big game, yet SHE'S the one who got captured and brainwashed by Duma's followers, and it was her brother who went and rescued her with her help of Alm. If anything, she's proven her brother right in anything he says about her
Oh for some reason I always see a blank space in awakening. They look like an armor knight but there isn't a person inside. Anyway I click the C support and somehow this guy nammed Kellum appeared. So then what happenes is they talk for a bit but after that I can never find them again. Can someone please explain who this Kellum guy is? Like is he a secret character you unlock?
I remember the supports between F! Corrin and Hinata's son (forgot his name). Bro, they basically fell in love, got married, and had a child just because they talked about pickels.
Miriel and F!Robin. Their support is literally just Miriel testing the theory of gravity with Robin's pouch. Then in the A support Robin basically lets her keep the pouch because "they're friends" to which Miriel replies (probably not word for word because she uses big words that are hard to sum up) "I did not know we have obtained the status of friends" to which Robin is just like "well yeah, all this time together has to mean something" and the support just ends with Miriel saying "fascinating..."
Lindhardt's supports with Flayn always seemed off to me, iirc he suggested getting married to have kids as an experiment at the end of their A support. Though their paired ending together is actually quite sweet.
I always loved the Saizo and Beruka C support from Fates where they literally just stare at each other in silence before getting a support up. That one always gets me.
The change from C to A support for Bernadetta and Hubert in fe3h is my favorite chain in a long time. It's very funny in parts and really sweet in others. It's everything you could want in Fire Emblem writing. (chefs kiss)
This one isn't absurd or silly, but they did Sylvain dirty by not giving him an A support with Marianne. Marianne is looking for a savior and Sylvain just wants to be seen for more than his Crest. He tries to help her learn to smile with the intent that one day maybe she can join him in town and see the beauty of things around her and then the support just ends! My man is tied for most supports (excluding Byleth) in the game at seventeen and five, count 'em FIVE, of them are full supports. The rest are only CB supports and at least half of them are gag supports or don't help flesh out the characters. Now, I'll admit, he has a couple A+ supports, but still, five full support chains and one of them is the avatar. rant over

Dimitri and Sylvain's was super funny to me since I got it during the war phase so I have a 2mts tall, eye-patch wearing Dimitri hiding on Sylvain's room from a woman he wooed while begging Sylvain to help him while he hides on his room
I wish Luthier had another support chain but I guess the way it is fits into his character better.

I remember Panne and Frederick's support in Awakening being hilarious, mostly because of the notion that an absolute chad like Freddy would find a horse-sized bunny frightening and intimidating to the extreme.
Also the Laurent/Robin one is pretty absurd, but also cute. Dude just wants to show how his tome makes rainbows appear, let him enjoy it.

Canas and Bartre anyone? The A-support is where Canas asks Bartre, "Are you going to eat the book?" Or something like that.
It had the potential to be a nice support chain, but Bartre is such a one-note character in FE7 that half of the dialogue is just Bartre asking if Canas is calling him stupid and Canas saying no
Gray and Tobin in Shadows of Valentia. It might be the great voice acting, but I love all their interactions, not just the supports. But it always makes me laugh when Tobin says in the B, “Oh yeah? You wanna go clown?” And then Gray suggests taking out that frustration on some enemy soldiers.
"We're already outside" is probably my favorite response ever to Tobin lashing out ever-

Luthier deserves more love, hands down! To be honest, I couldn't stand his sister. And I only kept her around because she's really strong with magic. But I didn't like the way she treated Luthier, whereas, yes. He was overbearing, but he cared about her. He wanted everyone to love Delthea and see how great she was, despite him not getting the same treatment from the rest. Isn't that selfless?! And Delthea just tells him to go get some friends if he wants to advice her over anything?! Man.
Something that was the nail on the coffin for me, it's something Delthea says:
"It's not my fault they work twice as hard and only end up half as good!"
Lady... No. the soldiers in Alm's army work as hard as you and if they are not as good as you, then don't throw them under the bus like that. And I get she gets frustrated with her brother. But I find how she speaks to him way worse than Luthier's overbearing behavior. She is rude and disrespectful to him, who only worries about her. Sorry, but no. I'll be on Luthier side on this matter. Thank you.
Yeah, same. I get Delthea is young and all, but her bratty attitude frankly frustrates me to no end. Whenever I go back to Shadows of Valentia, I just give her the Makalov treatment and kill her in Tatarrah’s map. Frankly, I don’t feel like dealing with her supports with Luthier all over again.
Luthier and Delthea's support is decent but I don't like that it only ends off with Luthier trying to change for the better as if Delthea's was in the right of the whole argument. Cause Luthier at least had a more genuine reasoning for his strictness.

Delthea knows what she is, and a scolding from Luthier isn't what she cares about. Moreso finding it annoying.
However, Delthea is right. If Luthier thinks that he could scold another in relation to social skills, then it's indeed rather hypocritical of him. Ofc, he's affected by these words.
So really... It just comes down to Delthea not caring what others say, whereas Luthier most certainly does.

One goofy support I like is Donnel & Panne's in Awakening, where he keeps accidentally catching her in his hunting traps. I think it's a great support between two of my favorites in that game, their S support is also really cute to boot

I do love when FE supports go full comedy. They're usually some of my favorites. Gaius and Libra is a standout for me, I remember absolutely losing it at that one.

Lon qu you see she acts crazy to get lon qu adjusted to her normal self and priam is all embarrassed being near her.
Laurent is strange with how he likes being yelled at or inigo with nah as she wants to be called old.
Xane is funny with tiki as he teases her and that though me for a loop first time. Echoes many of them are either forgetable or funny for the situation.
I loved the support with Takumi and Leo not necessarily because it's funny but more like they bicker constantly about how they'll never be friends and yet that's exactly what happens

I don't remember most of the Dorethea and Hubert relation, but I did get them to marry on accident, and the cutscene where Dorethea is like "I want to get to know you better, want to get married" is funny enough that I had to show it to my friends.

Path of Radiance has two more hilarious support chains: Mia/Ilyana and Rhys/Kieran.
The first one has Ilyana just passing by Mia while she's training in the C and B supports, but the A one...oh, boy. Mia finds Ilyana passed out on the ground, but when she tries to go get help, Ilyana, dying of hunger, tries to eat Mia's foot.
The second...must be seen to be believed, shall we say.

Oh for some reason I always see a blank space in awakening. They look like an armor knight but there isn't a person inside. Anyway I click the C support and somehow this guy nammed Kellum appeared. So then what happenes is they talk for a bit but after that I can never find them again. Can someone please explain who this Kellum guy is? Like is he a secret character you unlock?

I remember the supports between F! Corrin and Hinata's son (forgot his name). Bro, they basically fell in love, got married, and had a child just because they talked about pickels.
Flayn and Raphael. listening to them yell back and forth is hilarious
Miriel and F!Robin. Their support is literally just Miriel testing the theory of gravity with Robin's pouch. Then in the A support Robin basically lets her keep the pouch because "they're friends" to which Miriel replies (probably not word for word because she uses big words that are hard to sum up) "I did not know we have obtained the status of friends" to which Robin is just like "well yeah, all this time together has to mean something" and the support just ends with Miriel saying "fascinating..."
Lindhardt's supports with Flayn always seemed off to me, iirc he suggested getting married to have kids as an experiment at the end of their A support. Though their paired ending together is actually quite sweet.

The change from C to A support for Bernadetta and Hubert in fe3h is my favorite chain in a long time. It's very funny in parts and really sweet in others. It's everything you could want in Fire Emblem writing. (chefs kiss)

This one isn't absurd or silly, but they did Sylvain dirty by not giving him an A support with Marianne. Marianne is looking for a savior and Sylvain just wants to be seen for more than his Crest. He tries to help her learn to smile with the intent that one day maybe she can join him in town and see the beauty of things around her and then the support just ends! My man is tied for most supports (excluding Byleth) in the game at seventeen and five, count 'em FIVE, of them are full supports. The rest are only CB supports and at least half of them are gag supports or don't help flesh out the characters. Now, I'll admit, he has a couple A+ supports, but still, five full support chains and one of them is the avatar.
