- Join me at a loch in Glen Torridon where I have lovely reflections, however that also means midges 😂.

Beautiful location. Stunning shots. Thanks for sharing. subd & 👍137
Thanks very much, I appreciate the sub.
Loved the light you both captured. Really very beautiful
Thanks very much Ali, a lovely morning it was indeed. After I recorded the video, most of the cloud had disappeared.
Love it Nick, I must get back up to Scotland sometime 👍👍👍
Thanks very much Mark, appreciate you watching.
Beautiful location and images . Going to loch nes in a few weeks.
Thanks very much, enjoy Loch Ness.
Really nice ❤
Thanks very much Gemma.
Looks great 👍
Thanks very much Stig.
Beautiful light. Sorry you had to get eaten by the midges to get them but it really was nice with the light and the reflection!
That light sure was well worth waiting for David, and sometimes we have to suffer for 'the' shot.
Even as a Scot that considers Torridon his spiritual home, I would never visit during the season of the midge. :-) Huge respect to you.
🤣 Thanks very much.
Midge is worse further south at skye torridon isnt as bad @@NickHansonPhotography
@@jaybee2786 I actually live on Skye 😉
Location envy and huge shot envy in particular the one with the low cloud coming in the right hand side ... Em's first shot too was cracking - liked the reflection in the foreground that you couldn't see in the sky. You are ROCK HARD though... you didn't even flinch at those Midges and you could see them flying around you. Ugh, they like me too much. Spot on video Nick, thank you.
Thanks very much Louise, it sure was a lovely morning, all be it the midges. I definitely wouldn't say I am 'ROCK HARD', the midges just weren't THAT bad on this morning - I have definitely had a lot worse where I've been running around shouting F**K OFF YOU LITTLE B*ST*RDS! Yeah, Em got some rather different shots that morning, My excuse is that it's easy for her, as she was just continually moving around getting shot after shot, whereas of course I had to concentrate on getting video.
@@NickHansonPhotography I get that… the video can constrain. And glad you are midge fodder too. 😂
Really great video. I love the simple way you explain what you are doing...thank you.
Thanks very much Marlene, appreciate that.
Excellent vlog, Nick. A gorgeous location beautifully captured. How I miss those Highland midges!
Thanks very much David, I bet you do miss them 🤣
Cracking vlog Nick, I was lucky to catch this gorgeous Lochan 2 xmas’s ago with snow 😁 Keep up the good work, loving your vlogs 👍
Thanks very much Alan, I really appreciate that. It's a cracking spot, isn't it!
@@NickHansonPhotography sure is Nick 😁👍
THAT light! 🤩
Well worth being bothered by the midges waiting for it 😁
Stunning pictures and location 🤩🥰
Thanks very much David, it sure is, and IMO also worked well the day before in the moody conditions.
Really nice video Nick, loved the final images. Does Avon moisturiser work against the wee beasties in any way al all? I believe it's what the Royal Marines recommend!!
Thanks very much Andy. A lot of people use Avon Skin So Soft, however surely the marines are so hard that the midges don’t bother them 🤣
I love the Scottish scenery but I couldn’t stand there like that. For some reason I’m very attractive to midges. A friend stands beside with about 10 around her and I’ve got about 100,000 around me and being bitten to death. They ruin Scotland for me :(
Unfortunately if you want calm conditions in the summer, then you’re most likely going to have to put up with midges. Sometimes we have to suffer to get ‘the shot’ 🤣
