This was one of my top song choices to perform for the concert with @HalcyonMusic.
I planned this arrangement back in 2014 when my old channel hit over 9000 subscribers and it became my most viewed cover nearing a million views. This arrangement challenged my arrangement and performance capability like no other which is why it holds a special place in my heart. After many years I was given the chance to play it and share my love for the song.
Shoutout to one of the audience who mentioned that he loved this arrangement and was learning this piece. I was caught off guard at that statement. Some random commentary in the CC sub

Damn it, just realised that I'm 35 now. I used to watch dragon GT in VHS. And I was 12-13 back then. This performance brought back all my memories and it seems it was yesterday, but unfortunately it is long time ago.

That seamless transition to Dragon Soul and back was probably my favorite part but the whole cover's solid.
EDIT: Watched this again with captions on, found out that was an an accident, and yet it was *STILL* so seamless. Amazing.
The change was so subtle that on my first listen, I didn't notice at all! He kept Dan Dan pace for dragon soul, amazing! Brought me tears

Wow. This was perhaps the best rendition of Dan Dan Kokoro I think I've ever heard. I love it when a creative artist takes a well known song and adds their own heart to it. It becomes less of "just a song" and an expression of the person themselves. Beyond that, I know that you said the addition of Dragon Soul was by accident, I enjoyed it so much and it got me very excited. I had always loved Dragon Soul, and it's addition here was a perfect nod to how that opening theme was inspired. The addition of it to Dan Dan Kokoro reminds us where this all comes from. It fits the spirit of GT perfectly as it is a "Grand Tour" of Dragon Ball as a whole, which is one of the reasons why GT is my favorite. And hearing Dragon Soul and Dan Dan Kokoro together made this song for me. Reminds us of where we've been, where we're going, and where we are. It fit the song perfectly when it says "know that sometimes I want to turn around and see the things that I've passed on the journey, but know with love on my side, with courage and pride, I fight, I will carry on". Your version of this song encapsulates that phrase which serves as the inspiration of the entire song. And the best part was that it happened by accident. This song essentially played itself, and your subconscious pushed the very meaning of the song home. Thank you for playing this. It was perfect.

When I meant accident I meant my original recording of this piece in 2014. I transitioned into Dragon Soul without being aware but it elevated the arrangement so I kept it into the official sheets.
Also I just found out GT means grand tour.
Yes. This one song you played encompasses the entirety of the Dragon Ball experience from before the year 2000. And while Dragon Soul technically comes from DBZ Kai, it still counts as Kai would not exist without DBZ.

I remember watching DBGT in Japanese back in the late 90s and it was so awesome to get more Dragonball after Z. I know it wasn't overall as well received as Z but at the time for many fans in the 90s and early 2000s it was still Dragonball and I loved it. The theme "Dan Dan" will always be so nostalgic to me and I recognize it instantly. Awesome performance!

Gt had a lot of imperfections. BUT!
The music was beautiful, every opening and every single ending song. The Supersaiyan 4 was the perfect ultimate transformation. And the final episodes… I am still crying. Because when Goku said farewell that’s the real “the end” of Dragonball for me.
