New to the channel and like it very much. I do not recognize the brand of track that you are using. Is it something only in the UK? I am on the USA. You have probably told everyone ages ago but if you could mention it again that be great..track is so expensive these days so I figure maybe you have a good source. Thank you again and keep up the videos.
Welcome. The track is Peco SM32, which is Code 200 rail spaced at 32mm gauge. Not dedicated to UK but certainly a popular choice here. Our scale is 16mm = 1 Foot (Yep, we mix metric and imperial) and means we're modelling 2 foot gauge railways. Hope this helps explain it :)
This is a really long run now. How long does it take that little diesel to go from your big station area, all the way past the pond, round the new return loop, all the way back and round the original oval back into the station?
12:25 the KISS principle is the best
Great progress well done. Loving the track wiggle.
Another excellent video! Good to see more progress
Love the wiggle, it is now a must have for garden railways everywhere
Straight lines are just not realistic, and it's serving a job. What's not to like :)
Enjoying the updates, and seeing all the hard work that entails.....
Must be a good bit cooler at the moment, have a good holiday break 🎄🎁👍❄️❄️🌨️🌨️
Yep it's certainly cooler. Back on the inside jobs list now, ha
Another fascinating video.
The season's greetings to you both🎄🎉🎆✌️🙏👍😊
Same to you!
@SouthgateLightRailway 👍💜😊🙏🎉🎉🎄🎄🎄
And the railroad empire grows again.
Railway Empire, I like that. :)
14:12 the Nullarbor line in Oz is probably the straightest at 478Km (297 miles) in the world
You'd need a very long garden to model that. 😲

Good question, we've not timed it. Sounds to be like we need to do an updated onboard video of the whole line in the spring.
