As someone who survived a violent husband for 5 years I can tell you she is lying. The kind of abuse she describes can NOT be covered up with makeup. There would be swelling as well as bruising. Lawyer is incredible, like you said, she asked it again but she actually set amber up by asking her to answer with a simple yes or no. Both answers are potentially dangerous for her, but its so dangerous precisely because amber knows its a made up story. The moment she says yes, she has to maintain the consistency of her statements throughout the entirety of the cross examination. At the same time, she cannot say no, because thats like her pleading guilty. Didn't give her chance to hot air any rhetorics.

She also must keep the flow of her questions going is a smooth, pace but she cannot be so accusatory of the witness that it's off-putting to the jury. She gets an A+ for this. Vasquez is making (I believe purposely) insignificant errors *every 7-9 questions* that she promptly corrects, ex. she was tongue twisted saying "thirteen". This humanizes her BUT more importantly, it makes her appear like a "sweet, innocent young lawyer who is not a shark" when she actually is just that. These are top-tier psychological skills that less than .01% of trial attorneys are skilled enough to pull it off and very few are good enough to know about. She is not overbearing like AHs attorneys towards witnesses -- AHs attys came off as the real assh*les not the witnesses during cross. Vasquez is doing the exact opposite. She's coming off as though she is almost a juror asking the same questions they might ask each other during deliberations. There is a lot you likely don't realize that is much more than surface deep. Does Vasquez have great opportunities to place doubt on every word out of AHs mouth? Yes, any atty would, but there are very, very few this skilled. There's a reason she's sitting in the front with Ben Chew.

I know 2 guys who got in a fight in a bar and the attacker give them 1 single closed fist punch to each one. Both needed their lips stitched because it was an open crack, they've eaten only soup through a straw for weeks and their lips looked like they had an allergic reaction. That was from a single punch, there is no way Johnny hit her multiple times with a hand full with rings and she could still be recognised after that.

I think I’m depps case they wanted him to lose his cool with the lawyer and try to use that as proof of what amber was saying he was like, whereas in heards case it’s exactly what you said, they don’t want to give her the option to say she was intimidated.

As a person who studies psychology, I am quite unsure, she may win this case, but I also feel very sorry for her, as a Psychology student, I do, because yes she does suffer from border line personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder. And, as Dr. Shannon Curry so eloquently stated, she will do things and they things, and believe she is correct, truly believe that she is, or if she does point out her insecurities, she will just highlight the ones, we can all relate to as human beings to achieve some sort of pity in the end. She did not go to the hospital. She's retracted another lie the best she could..but do you see how easily she lied about her nose being broken?? She'll lie about a broken nose, just like she'll lie about everything else with no expression on her face. This tells you how easily and effortlessly she tells a lie. She didn't even think twice to say her nose was broken when she knows damn well there was pictures of her taken right after that alleged incident. Knowing full well she didn't seek medical attention. If you think your nose is broken, you go to the hospital. This makes me so angry watching this

I can’t believe this happens in this world man. The recent trial audio clips show Johnny wanting to leave so bad, and she wanted to hug him after she told the world he hit her all the time in the face. He said “you’ll never see me eyes again”. So intense. I have fought against a similar women in a regular workplace. I was an assistant manager, she was the store manager. I luckily had clips of her doing something dodgy, which cleared my name, and got her in trouble instead of me. There’s just a disrespectful, * not normal and uneasy * vibe and feeling I felt at the beginning. And I can feel this again watching the case. Prayers for Johnny. I hope he can get through this. I watched my father, who did not wear rings. Hit my mother ONCE in the face and she had a black eye for weeks, no amount of makeup no matter how expensive (high quality) it was could cover it. My first encounter with domestic violence against a male was when I served in the military. When I asked him what happened to his face he lied to me. The bruising and swelling told a story that he didn't have to narrate. I chose to be a part of the medical profession when I attended college. I'm more than confident in saying that she is lying. I, myself was held captive by a bunch of Bikers by simply going to a party I was invited to by some co workers. I had no idea what I was in for but believe me....I kept my mouth shut and the lady bikers helped me escape. This tells you how easily and effortlessly she tells a lie. She didn't even think twice to say her nose was broken when she knows damn well there was pictures of her taken right after that alleged incident. Knowing full well she didn't seek medical attention. If you think your nose is broken, you go to the hospital.

I can’t believe this happens in this world man. The recent trial audio clips show Johnny wanting to leave so bad, and she wanted to hug him after she told the world he hit her all the time in the face. He said “you’ll never see me eyes again”. So intense.
I have fought against a similar women in a regular workplace. I was an assistant manager, she was the store manager. I luckily had clips of her doing something dodgy, which cleared my name, and got her in trouble instead of me.

I watched my father, who did not wear rings. Hit my mother ONCE in the face and she had a black eye for weeks, no amount of makeup no matter how expensive (high quality) it was could cover it. My mother was brutalized by her domestic abuser, and I PROMISE you that evidence of swelling cannot be covered by makeup. She is an affront to all REAL domestic abuse survivors. Male or female. My first encounter with domestic violence against a male was when I served in the military. When I asked him what happened to his face he lied to me. The bruising and swelling told a story that he didn't have to narrate. I chose to be a part of the medical profession when I attended college. I'm more than confident in saying that she is lying. I have seen the physical results of domestic violence. Both in my personal life and professional journeys. Anyone that defends her is appropriately considered an enabler of abuse.
And with every lie she makes it harder for real domestic abuse victims to be believed. sad
