That’s so awesome you found a turd Here’s the thing...I had the black Crucial and LOVED it. I used it until the frame bent from prying...which is terrible miss use on my part BUT that was after several years of hard use....it was a great Multitool
My black crucial has the potential to be such a solid piece, but while my issues with this red one might be flukes, there are no flukes with the black one. Almost perfect toolset that I was excited to carry, I’ll talk about why I stopped on Monday. I’m glad you liked yours. Mind hitting me with a few reasons why so I can include other perspectives?
@@DaveLikesKnives Yeah! At the time (almost 8 years ago) I was a home theater installer. I needed “everything” in my pockets, but not a lot of weight. Most multitools were big and bulky. This one had a perfect size and pocket clip! The pliers were thin enough to get under bound zip ties and snap them. The belt cutter was a clam shell pack opener for me. And the blunt tip on the blade allowed me to run it along wires that were taped together without harming the wire itself. I paired the Crucial with a Kershaw Select Fire so I could have an extended screw driver. Those two got me through a lot of installs
Yeah you found one. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
I am so proud of you for finding a truly horrible thing. LOL
Dude, I’ve looked so hard for so long. My journey finally has some closure.

Thanks! I used the select fire when I started air balance.
*baseball bat has entered the room*
*baseball motions sensually and suggests bat “gets comfortable”*
@@DaveLikesKnives * Bat reaches into pants and produces his Gerber crucial.
*crucial fails to adequately deploy, bat is embarrassed but ball has the good graces to be encouraging nonetheless*
😆
*and they all lived happily ever after*
Wow what a giant piece of crap. Had a Gerber dime which was pretty good. This one here is just not good at all. Great video 👍
Yea, huuuuuuge disappointment. I’ve been seriously seeking this thing for years. I’ve loved my Dime though, great tool.
Gerber hahahahahaha
The Centerdrive really did establish a whole new generation. Finally!
