Can anyone provide some insight into what is going on at the G7 at 1:18? I hear Baptiste use this sound a lot and really like it. Is he substituting the G7 for a Bmaj7 as a backdoor 5 or something?
I tried: maybe also without the left index finger and right pinky (you can see it), but with octave key (it seems more easy) So: Low Bb + octavekey without the b/e/low c key ?
Well thats a hellava job well done! Working out the time changes and even some fingerings! Thanks, a ridiculous piece of playing and a ridiculous piece of transcription. Theres a lifetime of study material in there! @@danfw9222
My favorite Baptiste Herbin dealer
I will never get over how clean his articulation is. Incredible.
Great solo 😲. And great transcription 😲. Thanks 👍👍👍
I think, only Herbin and Brecker have such clean lines at speed that you don't need to slow it down to hear the line clearly.
Impressed.................... Any albums?

I think that's it. Bmaj7 for nice voice leading into Cmaj7.
It's the same idea like the cadence at the end of the bridge of The Song is You, going back to the last A section
whats going on with that multiphonic at 8:22!! sounds so cool. kinda looks like he's fingering a low C# and lifting up right hand middle finger?

great transcription, how long did this take?
A couple of hours a day for about a week and a half.
