    Great video! Really helpful
    Under the dash, is it as simple as just plugging both pink wires together?
    Also, would it work the same way with the JDM ones?

      @@julioanaya6346 The OEM kit came it, so I am not sure if it has an individual part #. It is a simple fuse loop. I would check with your local Subaru dealership to see if they have one. I even took a moment to look online but did not have any success finding it.

    I have a question if you dont mind. Just installed those on my wrx (first one took me an hour to remove the old insert- second took 3 minutes!)
    Are these just daytime running lights during the day? I can't find the switch 4 my fog light since I just got the car. There's no separate switch correct?

    • @allthingssubie4796
      @allthingssubie4796  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it was definitely a learning experience with the removing the first one. Yes the side LEDs are on all the time, even when your high beams are on. The fog light control is on the headlight switch on your steering column. Try turning the middle of the headlight control which should rotate just like the main headlight control

    I disagree w/removing the bumper. all of the work can be done w/the car on stands or ramps. obviously if you don't have stands or ramps you have no choice but to remove the front bumper. access is easily achievable by removing a few pop clips that hold the splash guard in place just in front of the front tires.

    • @allthingssubie4796
      @allthingssubie4796  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can see how it would be possible if you have a lift or floor jacks, but accessing the one screw on the top of the foglight assembly would be a struggle. It is really tucked in on the back side of the bumper. For me I also wanted to see if I could remove the bumper myself with just basic tools. I also agree that there is always more then one way to get the job done.
