I can't get over how QUICKLY they adjust and just become their characters again!! They had one second to hear the news and process it and immediately Liam and Laura switch to Caleb and Jester effortlessly
Their probably still recording stuff for the Mighty Nein animated series (at least I would assume so), so I would imagine those voices are still fresh in their minds. Not that switching back an forth isn't difficult no matter what, but at least it's not like they haven't practiced those voices in months or anything.
@@TheSwordOfTheJedi-u2p You also don't need to work in V/O to retain a voice you did consistently for years, it really just comes down to muscle memory at that point.
@@Chrosteellium I know Matt said Uk'otoa's still sealed but I half expect Kingsley to be in the middle of a giant naval skirmish between that danger noodle and the Revelry. Either that or he's cheating in a card game somewhere.
Honestly, this is incredible from an improv perspective. Not only are you reacting to everyone else's performance, but at the same time you have to react as two entirely different people.
For the first time I was actually able to catch an episode live and I'm SO glad that it was this one. I was fully expecting the payoff to be Matt doing an impression of each Nein member, but when Liam slipped into Caleb's voice I squealed with joy! I'M SO EXCITED FOR THURSDAY!!!
I don't really know why I'm so proud of Marisha, since you know, I don't really know her, but she came up with the perfect button line. Amazing. Everyone was, in that moment, but she's the one who pulled off the quad axel.
It’s amazing that they’ve now spent several in-game hours doing double roles and you can count the times they’ve messed up voices on one hand. Even when they’re talking to THEMSELVES, like Caleb talking to Orym, it’s possible to follow along. I also love in the next episode how a couple of them engaged in double conversation (aka one person doing both characters), but when Laudna approached Beau, the latter was just like, “No, fuck off.” So in character!
i get matt's glee, last campaign my plays had to RP as three groups at the same time due to story, was fun to sit there and make them do all the different characters for once
Robbie: I'll be your anchor of sanity. Me: Why does that sound so terrifying? I think this was definitely Matt trying to show them what he goes through. Laura comments on that during the cool-down section, which I guess usually isn't viewable?
i REALLY really think he legit just wanted them to describe what they saw (giving them creative freedom to paint the picture of their appearances). I haven't seen this comment a single time anywhere else, so I guess I'm alone, but I really think he planned on roleplaying them. Why wouldn't he. He's done it for basically all of Vox Machina now, and Caleb and Beau have already show up in this campaign, both times being controlled by him, and he's roleplaying entire council meetings before with a dozen+ PC's, so it's not like he hasn't done similar before. He asked "What do you see". And then one or two of them misunderstood I think, and the rest just rolled with it, and Matt was like; This is fucking glorious, they have misunderstood in the best way possible, I'm just gonna let this play out.
It seemed like the next few episodes were going to be incredibly chaotic due to the amount of characters, but with some minor hiccups, the cast did a phenomenal job of portraying and switching between all the characters while also creating very interesting interparty dynamics.
Not gonna lie. At this point I'm expecting the final battle to have all 22-24 main PCs. Also Within my expectations: -Kiki's gonna save Vax. -Scanlans's finally gonna come into the campaign. -Jester reveals she's pregnant or gets told she is. -Laudna becomes truly alive again. -Ferne and Ashton hookup. -FCG returns. -Kingsly returns.
Plot twist Headcanon; Imogen reads Jester's mind, finds out she's pregnant, and pulls her into a corner to subtly congratulate her. Jester says she loves her dad, but she's glad her child will have a father their whole life. Imogen mentions her own single-parent household, and they bond over being happy for Jester's child. I just wanna see Laura do a sweet scene by herself!
Matt being so gleeful about the cast having to play multiple characters talking to each other (and essentially themselves) for once is so funny 😂😂 The man was feeling VERY vindicated
I only came here to say: I t’d be pretty cool not to have the campaign spoiled by random titles of videos that I see on youtube. Please don’t do that. It’d be appreciated by more than just me. Thanks.
It’s funny how Robbie gets to just sit like :] cuz he doesn’t need to worry about persona juggling
I can't get over how QUICKLY they adjust and just become their characters again!! They had one second to hear the news and process it and immediately Liam and Laura switch to Caleb and Jester effortlessly
And the way Marisha also was acting like Launda then just lent forward and squinted her eyes a bit and then was Beau, was amazing
almost like they do this for a living and are good at it

Professional actors, my friend xD
'you're the Mighty Nein? Why are there 7 of you?'
Essek and Kingsley couldn't make it.
That quote was chef's kiss. Magnifique.

I love Travis answering Ashley's MN PC and immediately throwing to Fearne to make her go back-to-back. Just improv friendly challenge
I just love that they spent a solid 2 minutes trying to impress... themselves 😅
Hows likely the mighty nein were also like. "Okay we gotta enter in style too..we like lit by the moon light..so like we gotta look dope entrance!"
Jester and Veth talked Beau into that idea, yasha did it for her wife, Caduceus is just happy to participate and caleb is trying
This is the biggest voice acting/improve/DnD flex ever, they are all just so insanely talented.
Why Im so glad I've met all of them.
Matt knew exactly what he was doing.
And regretted it the moment Fearne and Jester shook hands 😂
Matt's like "I can RELAX for the next 10 minutes, finally!"
I love that Robbie just gets to sit back and enjoy watching his friends do what they do best!
Jester and Fearne...the Chaos Crew just got a new member. I am both intrigued and terrified.
The Nein Hells!
Ahh thats soo good
I love it!
The mighty bells!
Oh man. We all missed jester
Im not even done with Mighty Nien yet.... And i have to watch as the next episode airs. This is going to be to much fun

For me it was exactly the same, when I saw it I almost lost my shit omfg
"Caduceus?" "yeah" I missed Cad omg
Oh, the revenge for all the tines they made him talk to himself for 15 minutes xD

I wonder if Matt will make all three groups meet up...just to mess with the cast.
That would be SO awesome 🤣
This was a giant mindf*ck for me. Its so cool how they just flip flop between their characters.
Matt cackling like an evil villian made the entire campaign!

it's been two weeks and i literally can't stop grinning like an idiot every time i watch this interaction
Only thing I saw at first when this aired is Matt looking so happy.
Caleb is back!!! :DDD
Matt’s energy is amazing
I was part of a game that had 10 people. It got so crazy we had to split the partyy make 2 groups
Ashley and Travis knocked it out of the park here
The look of childlike glee on Matt's face is priceless
the next session will be puer madnes ^^
Matts face 😂
Can you imagine if they ALL group up? M9, BH, AND VM?

They all die heroically with one man left standing, saving all of Exandria: Taryon Darrington!
Seems likely that with the plot heading towards a doomsday final battle scenario theyll pull all stops and have a big ahh avenger’s endgame moment.
I’m glad we got Duece over Kingsley. Don’t get me wrong I love them both but I like Duecey a little more
I think in the final hour we shall see most, if not all, of the heroes fall. But I thought that with Vecna, so who knows.
Matt being so gleeful about the cast having to play multiple characters talking to each other (and essentially themselves) for once is so funny 😂😂
The man was feeling VERY vindicated
Did Sam know this was going to happen? Did he know he was going to hit on himself?
I hope they are actually controlling bells hells and m9
I cant help but always think hoe if FCG met them and it makes me so sad
So are they the mighty bells or the hell's Nein?
the Nein Hells? Aren't there 9 circles of hell in Dante's Inferno? Kinda badass.
@@angelicalicari8355 My vote's for this one.
So if the three campaigns PCs get together would that make them the mighty hell's machina?
I call for the Nein Hells of Machina, just cause it's weird and totally something they would say (they as in the Chaos Crew)

People do these types of videos so that we don't have to watch the entire episode
As someone who didnt watch Campaign 2... this wasnt enjoyable. But I'm glad they had a blast of a time.
Should watch its the best one.
@@WasLilChrisnowbigish Im on 133 right now...oh Lord I love the Nein....
