A couple of rules where I'm not sure you've interpreted them right... App Seer looks at 1 centre card. This is not the same as Mystic Wolf which looks at another player's card. So the Mystic Wolf cannot automatically bluff as App Seer. Cupid's lovers die if the other person dies. This doesn't mean they lose if the other person loses. If a member of the village team dies and their lover is a werewolf then the village team wins including the lover.
I think you are underestimating the price. They can act suspicious without fear, so can make the werewolf think they're a minion, or simply dig for information of bag guys piling against you.
I was running a game with 9+ people and we found that their is virtually no reason for the seer to not look at two center cards and that it was incredibly powerful. The two werewolves and minion had no chance except for games where the seer is in the center. Should I replace the seer with something like the apprentice seer or is something else better? We usually play aliens where we just replace seer with psychic, but in this game we were playing with a few new players so we started simple. Also, stop Curator hate. It’s legit the best card (just remove void of nothingness) Otherwise, your right on everything else. The prince sucks
@@wrestlingfan836 you could do apprentice seer instead of seer or just have an independent card in like tanner or assassin. As long as a card like that is in play, it always keeps people on their toes even if they feel like they know who the bad guys are
I like Apprentice Seer better than the Seer in smaller games. The last two times I played, a girl got Seer both times and looked at her boyfriend's card and it was a Werewolf both times. The boyfriend didn't even want to be there and getting called out right at the beginning both times pissed him off and made the game miserable. Those were both terrible games and not fun at all. The worst part was, I had tried to convince everyone to use the Apprentice Seer instead of the regular one for that very reason but no one listened to me.
@@HarryBuddhaPalm yes I think seer is best played with more cards or with a Mystic Wolf in the game. There are a few cards that just become too easy to play with 5 people or less.
@@KevinLi_ daybreak is good to mix more cards. Most of the other packs only have a couple cards yok can mix with. They are mostly standalone games. The bonus pack is also decent.
Do I need to live to win? In the case of minion, if he dies, the werewolf wins then he wins? So in the case of cupid-ed, if I (a villager) die my werewolf partner dies then I win?
I believe that is how it works. I don’t necessarily believe for most cards that if you “die” it matters, but it really just matters if your team wins. But for some cards like the Tanner, dying obviously does matter.
Bodyguard, Drunk, & Hunter are some of the worst and most boring imo. I actually think Apprentice Seer is a solid card for mid-large groups. Also, Robber is S tier for sure.
Agreed, although if you have a lot of werewolves I feel that the Robber can easily become too strong. It’s fun to play as but you hate when someone else has it.
We had a werewolf encounter in our Pathfinder campaign and our druid got bit. Any tactical advice on how to continue play? We have no witch, no priest/cleric.We're trying to jail (or kill) any robbers. Please help!
I don’t think I could find a tiermaker that had them included. Besides that, super villians is a bit redundant as the cards function the same as werewolf, but it would’ve been cool to have the aliens.
Bro this is so bad XD Witch is S tier, so broken when alpha wolf is in Apprentice Seer is great for games with lower player counts where you don't want an actual seer, should be higher Copycat is really boring with the base vampire game cuz nothing else touches the center, should be way lower Dreamwolf is F Robber is S tier, very easy to play and gets a lot of info Curator is a versatile card that can shake things up and can be a balancer to the witch, should be at least a B Diseased and bodyguard are really fun if you want to throw the game and make everybody mad, should be higher Cursed should be very low Drunk is good for making sure village team isn't too powerful and can be good to keep games simple for new players
It would be interesting to see how we would play in a game together! I disagree with most of what you said but it would be interesting to see the style of games you enjoy!

My favorite card is the doppelgänger!

I love that card, but I can never play with it because everyone says it takes too long
Minion, tanner too op for wolves

In our games drunk actually counters seer reasonable well. Someone can lie about taking a card from center and create confusion.
Which pack should i buy after the original?

But not everyone can be a powerful card, how can you have a balanced game if you don't have some weak villagers in there?
@@libertopian If everyone has a 'powerful' card then it would be balanced haha
Adding in weak cards would by definition make it unbalanced.
@@TierMasters That's fair. I do think adding the Troublemaker helps neutralize some of the Robber's power, though no doubt it's still incredibly good.
