Hey Ryo, you’re lucky you have saved so much on a system like that. With the filtering pack you have, I would go with a group of colorful cichlids and peacock fish. Definitely lot of movement with them
Hi ryo i just used an amazonia soil for the first time and the water became very very cloudy and totally black how to solve this solution plus im using a very big dolphin hanging filter and i wait for a couple hours but it is still black
Hi ryo thank you for helping me with my diatom algae situation. That algae ruined my stem plants that my uncle gave me 🥺 ordered new plants though are you going for an arrowana with your new tank hahaha
Cool tank dude, just found your channel through aquarium co op's post, didn't realize we had a local aquarium youtuber, time to start binge watching your videos! Quick question, having 2 6' tanks with sumps myself, are you placing the air stones and the heater in the main tank for cosmetic or functional reasons? I ask because a couple of key benefits of an overflow sump is that it aerates the water just via the water overflowing down to the sump and the sump itself is a great place to put the heater and any other submerged equipment, including air stones if you want to aerate your media, so they functionally don't have to be in the main tank itself. Anyway keep it up!
Thanks for your comment. The heater is in the main tank because it just simply doesn’t fit in the sump. I keep the air stones in the main tank because I want to keep the humidity down inside the cabinet. I don’t want to have bits of water splashing around in the cabinet.
Im not sure the dog thought the joke was funny! Lol. Great tank can't wait to see what you put in there! A flowerhorn maybe or are you thinking Big school of something small?
@@RyoWatanabee Yep and that is what I'd go for if my biggest fishtank was a little bit bigger.I have 3 tanks currently running but my biggest one is an 84 gallon long which might be little too small for Geos and Silver Dollars.Geos are rather hard to find from where I come from anyway so I keep a group of Angelfish(all of them have wild-type colors) in there along with a school of Panda Cories which still works well for me since I am a fan of angelfish.
Hi Ryo from San Diego. What a HUGE tank . I would have fun putting lots of fish, plants and some landscaping. Ryo Your videos are so fun and enlightening. You get the feeling of being there at your location. Great job! Thanks Rick.
What fish would you keep in this tank?
Ryo Watanabe Lots of guppies !!! 🤪
you live in Asia, so arowana is a must

Rope fish!!
Jardini Arowana
You don’t need check valves if you are gonna keep the pump ontop if the tank btw
so cool!!!! can't wait to see how it progresses :)
Thank you! I can’t wait as well :)
Which pump have you used in your sump for 150gallons ? Please get back to me asap as I’m in process of getting my aquarium tank ready.
I didn’t even realize that the tank was filled untili I was 5 minutes in to the video!😂😂
How much your friend bought that set 150 gallon tank with stand??
Can't wait to see what you keep in there!
woah.. here you are... im from the facebook groups (FishTankTalk). what a nice tank!
Awesome! It’s nice to see you here :)
that tank is so beautiful. do you know what brand it is or was it custom made?
The tank is custom made but I’m not sure by which maker. Thank you
Nice tank. Do you stay in landed or hdb? I'm wondering if I can put all those tanks in a hdb flat
I stay in condo. One of my friends who stayed in hdb had 10 fish tanks over 3ft long
@@RyoWatanabee nice, thanks
Ryo , could you do how to cycle tank properly? I'm going to have a 180 gallons
Hi May I know how much and where did u get the tank in Singapore ?
Hi, this was set up was given to me by my good friend. You can try to ask 181 Aquarium at Ang mo kio.
Oh wow Ryo.. that’s so awesome I’m jealous 😮😮😮
Thanks Angelo. Congrats on 1k subs!
Ryo Watanabe Thanks so much Ryo 😊😊. I really appreciate that
Hi ryo i just used an amazonia soil for the first time and the water became very very cloudy and totally black how to solve this solution plus im using a very big dolphin hanging filter and i wait for a couple hours but it is still black
Nice tank! Is the heater too long to put in the sump? You going to get Gars, Bichirs, and a Clown Knife? That would be a nice combo for that tank.
Definitely bichirs! Yeah, the heater can’t go in the sump. At least I’ve got a heater guard
How much is the sand?
What's the glass dimension?
How much did you buy it?
What are the dimensions on the tank
Sweet new tank! Looks like it’s gna be a monster
Why you use airpump ? Just move the top of the water whit your flow and there is more then enough oxigen lol
Hi ryo thank you for helping me with my diatom algae situation. That algae ruined my stem plants that my uncle gave me 🥺 ordered new plants though are you going for an arrowana with your new tank hahaha
I’m not so sure yet. I’m thinking of an aro or a flowerhorn
Ryo Watanabe i think they said a flower horn needs a smaller tank 😬 just do both hahahaha arrowana and flowerhorn 🤗
2:31 my life flashes before my eyes

Ah icic, fair enough, looking forward to seeing it fully set up with fish!
Im not sure the dog thought the joke was funny! Lol. Great tank can't wait to see what you put in there! A flowerhorn maybe or are you thinking Big school of something small?
I want it to be a surprise😅 I was thinking of a flowerhorn but not for this tank
That is a beautiful tank, a lot of potential.
Nice tank 😍. Put the heater in the sump.
It won’t fit! 😅
Oh 🤔😂
Awesome! thanks for sharing :)
Bro. Name of the aquarium company?
Live Coral sand you should use about 8 of the size bags you have for a tank that size
I don’t want so many. It’s my personal preference. I like having just a thin layer of sand since I’m not planting any plants
Wow Ryo!! You have a very nice friend, this Aquarium and sump are incredible!!!!! ✌️🐟☮️ Can not wait to see what you end up doing with it!?!
Me too!!! Thank you :)
Cant wait to see this tank with fish in it!
bandaidbrandd me too!
Very nice cool setup 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you :)
Wow... great tank Ryo... one of your largest i think right? I like the simple scape..
Thanks Jimmy! Yeah, I’ve actually had two 5 footers in the past but not with a sump tank :)
Cool tank there how much
I’m not sure how much as my friend gave this to me
You should put the heater in the sump if there is room for it.
I wish I could but my heater is too big!! Thanks though :)
Congratulated :)
What an amazing tank and setup... is there a name of this kit/aquarium or place it could be purchased exactly as you have there... it's perfect.
How much it cost
Nice tank.
Thanks
Keep the heater in your sump tank
I already mentioned in another video that I can’t. The heater is too big. I’ve got a heater guard so it’s ok
Wow ... I’m impressed!!!
Legend love your vids I am a huge fan
Thank you!
Looks pretty neat! Keep some monster plecos with it too? 😝
Jael Soh maybe, if I have the budget in the future :)
A group of Geophagus would look nice in that tank with some Redhook Silver Dollars for a schooling species and a large exotic pleco to finish off.
Glen Bagz that sounds like a great combo :)

@@RyoWatanabee I'm going with the Geophagus Surinamensis school too
The Paul cafforo of Asia. Great job man
Except this guy actually knows what he’s doing and does it for fun not money/fame
@@d.b9743 what is that supposed to mean?
Dude can you focus on the cabinet at the bottom on your next video
Sorry, I sold this tank already. I moved to different country
wow wow wow !!!!
Put the heater in the sump
Awesome 🤩 Congrats with your new aquarium Ryo! My fish choice would be: different species of nano fish and some Neocaridinas! Thanks for sharing 🤗
I was thinking of a planted aquarium, but I don’t think I’ll be that interested in it since I’ve got so many smaller planted tanks already
Awesome looking tank man! Love the size! 🙌
Thanks!
Put 200-300 rummy nose there, will be awesome!
malawi cichlids tank will be awesome. since its in living room. monster tank kinda scares people away 😂
Yeah, I kind of thought about that too :)
Lots of discuss?
Ranchu Goldfish Tank 👍
Ryo - would you do a whole video on BROWNY please??? I love him.
I'd do discus for sure.
I like your dog
Beautiful
Thanks!
Decent size for a betta
Yeah, a betta would be pretty happy in there. My Friend actually was able to put 2 pairs of betta in this tank
I have the same air pump
Me being a Latin American man I can confirm that is the proper way to say perfect

Thank you so much for the nice comment Rick :) really appreciate your support!

The small air stones look better.
