Something happened to one of my old mics i guess maybe i turned something on or of and forgot 48v power? will send back to Rode to get repaired. I noticed it on the day i got my 2nd tascam UH-7000 i was devoed !
***** I heard from a science teacher in high school that over the years we lose our ability to hear higher frequencies, which is likely why you didn't pick it up. Tested it in-class and sure enough he couldn't hear the higher frequencies that we could. Certain kids abuse this by setting their phone ringtone to a high tone so they can have it on in class unbeknownst to the prof. Hope the guys at Rode take care of it for you! Really do appreciate the care you put into making everything just so and wouldn't have mentioned it if I didn't think it was something that would concern you.

Hey Dmitri, another awesome video. I do have one little issue with it though, I seem to be hearing a very faint but noticeable high pitched sound in the background similar but not quite like a kettle pot boiling. Was that intended?
