"...without me Larry wasn't going to win a championship..." until he did. Cornbread was really good and one of the most under rated players but not 'Legend'ary.

There is only one Larry Bird. Geez, to call out Pete Maravich like that...nobody else would have the stones to even think of saying that. But like Magic said, Larry is a straight shooter. He'll tell you if he doesn't like you. And Magic wished he could have a little bit of that in his personality and Larry said he wished he could have some of Magic's outgoing personality.

Yeah. But Larry also realized Pete didn't have much left in the tank at that time. He respected Pete's talent and place in the game as well. Albeit if it was earlier ( Pete's prime).

@@ronniemiller3135 Then he became a pain in the ass and demanded superstar money. They gave it to him and he became a team cancer and faked injuries all year. They dumped him on the Clippers and got Bill Walton and became the greatest team ever. I was a major Celtics fan, but I loved to watch Charles Barkley eat his lunch and take his money. Can't stand him and his Anti-White rhetoric.

@@BeckettBoy First of all, Cornbread was good, but he is no MVP.
That award should have been Larry’s first of three, HE KNOWS IT…Larry knows it.
Instead the dude uses it as a mouthpiece platform to claim some sort of relevant status among the TRUE greats.
      Bird is GOAT level…LEGEND,
And every one knows that, so to again double down talking KG is still better, AND THEN fronting the clout to hold your ground and not acknowledge that you disrespected Larry is next level douchbaggery.
Cedrick Maxwell is a 1x MVP and 2x Champion that without Bird would have nothing on his resume.
