Red Deer Bolving (Roaring)

Bolving is a term that is sometimes used to describe a Red Deer stag's roar. There are actually 'Bolving' competitions where people try and impersonate a stag and get extra points when a real stag replies to them!
He looks so haughty when he walks I love him.
The young stags had to wait some years. Beautiful film and sound!

WatchRDeer ya the sound was very good indeed. In my films you hear always the cameras and talking ogf many people.
That is unfortunate, but nothing to be done about it. Or I have to play music, but then you don't hear the sounds of nature again. It is choosing or sharing. Good luck filming too!

Thanks! This was Holkham Hall in North Norfolk. Unfortunately they took the Red Deer out at some point in 2018. I've been going here at least once a year since 2009 and in the latter years the Red Deer experience got better.

I thought it was a cow mooing... maybe cow and deer are somewhat related relatives, perhaps?
These things have become so selectively bred and domesticated at game farms like this one that it’s not even sportsman like hunting to hunt them anymore. It’s like going out in a herd of cattle and harvesting a cow at your leisure 🤷♂️🙄
