My mates and I used to have a Honda C90 for over the fields when we were 15 years old, I'm 62 now. We used to hammer it up and down steep hills most days over a couple of years, how we never blew the engine blow up is beyond me but it always started first kick every time. They are so reliable it's unbelievable.
Daily driver , that’s the reason Honda made them , to get people to work , I’m showing my age , I worked in a bike shop from 1980 to 88 , and that was a bread and butter bike , serviced loads of them , brilliant machines
Nice work. I did my all year round commute on mine for 4 years. Rain, snow, the lot. I heartily recommend a 90! I have to regrettably confess that I have since got a 300 scoot as my daily because it’s quicker, safer etc, but that just enables me to keep the 90 cosy in the garage. Mines not pretty either but I love it to bits. I’ve sold my other bikes but the cub stays :-)
@@frederick864 I got a Honda SH300i ABS. Really good, a bit soulless but it’s quick, still gets 80mpg, safer with ABS and always on lights, good weather protection and storage. Highly recommended if you can find one.
@@christianluff I've got a piaggio xevo 400ie, but thinking of getting a sh300,. What year is yours? I've seen really nice 2012 models for 2k. I don't know how much theyve changed
I did a 15 mile each way commute on a C90 for 3 1/2 years. Could have done with something a bit faster at times but it was 100% reliable and did 120 mpg plus. And with a handlebar fairing it was good for all the year round. Even pretty good on snow - those skinny wheels gripped pretty well, and even if the back wheel broke away it was so light I could correct the skid easily. Moved on to a Peugeot Elysio 125 scooter. Quicker and more comfortable but I miss my little Honda!
My 35 each way commute was no quicker on my SV1000, than it was in my diesel car, when you took into account gearing up before I left, and getting changed at work. However I was always happier when I got home from work on my bike, and I’m sure itwould be the same on a C90!
A whole week eh? Try 20 there and 20 back summer/winter in '69/'70 for a year in the NE, Tyne Tunnel each way! My first ever bike, my first job. Loved that 90! Part exed it in for 125 Suzy dirt bike in '72. 40 years later bought another to add to my bike courier fleet, Winter deliveries to central London in the back of my white van to outskirts, brilliant bike in London. Now 50 years on got two 90's and a 70, bought for less than £50 each as runners on the road, really fancy adding a sidecar and a roof to one!

I've saw that anime and loved it. 🤣 Myself, I have the new dax 125 and I love it. A lot! So much, that instead of coming to work in a comfortable car, which is modern, I use my dax instead 🤣

This bike is great for a daily driver. Vietnamese people always using motorcycle like this to commute every day.

It's a treasure. In my country, we have Hero Honda Street 100.
I rode two up with all our camping gear from liverpool to matlock and back again on my c90,love these bikes to bits.

I got my Dad's old one to start biking with. My one is blue. I can get 45 mph out of her on the flat but the engine kind of stalls at anything higher.
i ride one daily and love it because i can get around my city easily
