They built 8 Pathfinders at Denham and they were the last cars of the marque. I had the pleasure of constructing the last one which happily resides, with its new owner in Germany and is used on a regular basis.
Nice video, these handle really well and are very competitive with a good engine in them. I am the registrar for the Fairthorpe section of the Fairthorpe Sports Car Club in the UK, anyone have any questions on Fairthorpes i am happy to answer.
Two friends used to race two of those, I'm about five miles from where they were made,I think later one's were made at denham airodrome, also five miles away
This is only the second time since early seventies i have heard of the Fairthorpe Electron, There was one in Shaw, Lancashire, on the aproach lane to St Georges primery school, I thought it was a one off.
Cant remember the exact address, the guy ran a Motor spares shop in Shaw, it had a large matt black panel on the bonnet with his shop details on it. Car is fully restored now and painted in it`s original colours of light blue with maroon stripe.@@antonyhoward2759
Looks like I will be doing some research. I wonder if it may be mentioned in one of my additions of Automobile Quarterly. Projected weight? 1200lbs - 1400lbs?
3rd time I have seen info on this car. Twice in book and magazine now this video.

Yea, I had never heard of one or seen one. Nice shape. I like the car. It will be interesting to drive it and push it. It is very light!
Was it a green one by any chance, i bought my Fathers old Electron Minor back from a guy who lived in Shaw.
