This is my mom's story
It was my mom's engagement day and it seems that my grandmother asked her to put kolam in the early morning time so my mom went to take water from the pipe which is common for all the peoples in that road when she went it seems that she saw someone with a white sari saying to my mom like "Indha poo(flower) va eduthu vechuko" my mom literally shouted and came back to home
Around 2 months before this incident
One day arpund night 10pm since there was no bus enga Amma vum Aachi(Grand mother) um pakkathu oorla irundha nadanthu vandhuttu irundhanga (The distance was around 4 km it seems) When they were walking it seems that they saw something smoke and went near it you'll not believe what I'm going to say but it is true there she saw someone wearing a red sari with a long hair but she was able to see only half body remaining was burnt
She thinks that maybe that was the one she saw on her engagement morning also
