    I have a friend whose neighbor is notorious for spraying. She spoke with them and asked to leave the fence line be, and she would take care of it with natural pesticide (vinegar, salt and water). Doing this they both get what they want, chemical free pesticide and a weed free fence line! Try talking to the neighbor, you may be surprised

    Your blanket idea is awesome!! It's worth asking your neighbor to be mindful of your garden. They might have not even thought of it and probably would be sorry this happened. At least if they can let you know when, you'd be able to prepare. I'd assume they'd be willing to work with you. Hopefully... some people can be jerks but generally I'd give them a chance to at least be aware and work with you

    Keep up the good work. You were talking about times to harvest at about 6:00. Greg over at Hoss tools said on a recent video that days to harvest is when either the sees or transplant gets in the ground. Harvest didn't make a difference with starting seeds in trays. I haven't tracked that very well as I am a newer gardener, but doesn't what you said support that? Just curious your thoughts on that. I think I am going to have to start tracking that.
    At 31:54 you were talking about flash freezing, we learned that lesson hard this past winter as we discovered some of our harvest had turned to solid hunks of ice. 😟 You straw method for removing the air is sure effective. I am going to have to do that!
    I'm over in Destin, Florida... humidity here is rough, too.

    Bacterial wilt could have occurred also, but they probably sprayed the weeds beside their fence. At least it's just your neighbors, our power company sprays the side roads with tons of roundup every year. 😢

    • @itsbreellis
      @itsbreellis  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! There were somethings that didn’t check out with bacterial wilt and since I saw the neighbors and started to have the issues slightly after, I ruled it as that. No way to be 100% positive but I believe that was the issue considering I’m not having any other issues with anything else outside of the few plants and also the green bean leaves. But that’s one reason we haven’t moved to the country, most land that pops up is surround my commercial farms and it’s so hard to find land that isn’t sprayed.

      Ill look into that, thanks for sharing! Ive never had issues like that with japanese beetles, they have always made my leaves have holes. I also haven't grown this many beans up a trellis, so new experience regardless lol. Not ruling anything out, there's so many random things that can go on in gardening. Everything I read into, and saw lead me to thinking it was probably herbicide damage. Regardless I can't be to mad a few plants arnt doing well when the garden has been thriving otherwise.
