    The reader constantly freezes and disconnects. We just got it, why is this happening? It'll process transactions for a bit then suddenly freeze on approve.

      Because shopkeep is hot garbage

    avoid this reader at all costs. had 2 of them and they both broke after minimal use. charging ports are loose and crappy, power on button collapsed into the unit on one of them....rip off.

    This looks like a very ugly copycat of Square's terminal.

      Ingenico isn’t copycat it’s industry standard hardware. Pay attention to the brand of terminals at stores like Walmart, Home Depot or even Apple Store. They’re all Ingenico.
      The other big manufacturer is Verifone.
