I struggled a lot during my undergrad and almost came out with a terrible grade that would basically amount my degree as useless. I was very very very lucky that my appeals were successful and I managed to come out well, but I am well aware that I truly scraped by. I am planning to take up a masters and have been interested in psychology, so this book should do me wonders. Thank you for the recommendation Dr. Barkley. I think it’ll also help in my daily life as I am teaching myself various things but have only been making small progress in all of my interests.
Just in time, I'm starting my 2nd year, 1st year was terribly difficult to stay on top of things and once you skip one lecture you end up skipping them all.
This book is selling for more than $200 in Sweden for a hardcover and the hardcover seems to be $155 + $12 shipping to Sweden from a certain website. Apart from that it seems like a solid recommendation.
@tkgg and my comment is specifically about the much cheaper option of the paperback cover. That's why I made it. Why anyone would want to buy a hardback copy for that price, is, well let's face it, a moment of oh look at me, I bought this for 200 dollars extravagance. Do you need to buy it at that price? Does anyone unless they're rich or own a library? In fact, should it be being sold for that price? I rather think not. So why you would worry or even wonder about its price being that for hardback, when the paperback is what I mentioned, is a little strange to me. 🤷♀️🤔
Wish I had this when I was attending. I never finished. It was also during prediagnoses.
