You know...I was introduced to Bruce Lee by my father with Enter The Dragon being the 1st of his movies I saw at 8 years old. I was locked in from that point...being a small but solid kid who was shy and had no friends everybody tried to earn stripes off of me but always failed miserably. It was because of Bruce Lee and I did my very best to be like him, but I can only be myself. We should learn from our heros this: be inspired, but take a little of what we learn from our heros and mix it in with our own mostly. Being a true dedicated fan, I believe Bruce Lee would have told me that. I'm a sharp and dangerous fighter but it makes me sad to fight. I love the idea of knowing how to defend myself but hate to be in a situation where I have to. I think since 8 years old all I had was kung fu movies I found some joy out of them. Anyway, this man here has had a major effect on my life in general to how I handle myself in anything...always positive. I was excited to see this video even though it broke my heart. 😔😥 seeing pictures of Bruce as an aging man is more than hard, yet it would be many times better than him being dead. That's right! I can definitely see that happening. Bruce easily gave the impression that he wasn't gonna make it easy for old age to come upon him. He was a trainoholic no doubt about that. Furthermore, at 32 weighing in at 140, he had the body of a teenager; so surely he would've looked young even though he would've been old. Yeah...6:43 is a good example. I personally don't think Bruce would take getting old very well. He was just too full of energy, passion, ambition, and a burning desire to enhance Jeet kune do to even higher levels as he was working on breaking or penetrating a thick wooden board with just a finger. 😬

I stumbled upon the grave of a beautiful girl who died at 18 in the 1950s. I was marvelling at how gorgeous she was until it hit me that she was a granny. Yet her image was still that of an attractive and desirable lady in the 2010s. That's because that's the form that was left for eternity as it's the form in which she left. What she looked like as an old lady was never unveiled so she will forever be a beautiful young lady. Yet if she had lived the expectancy of a human's life (and she could still be alive today) what would she be? I would cringe at the thought of her being seen as attractive. People would coddle her as if she was a child. And the pictures of her beautiful young self would still be there but be an after-thought. Who she would be for posterity would be an old woman, unattractive, frail, weak. A pathetic shell when in contrast with her young self. Some of the called "creepy old men" around would never have suffered the indignity of being labelled as such if they had never grown old. So would Bruce Lee still be seen as a badass fighter if he was around today? Maybe, I guess there's the factor peak in the case of people who achieve greatness. Muhammad Ali is much more remembered as a younger fighter rather than how he was in his final days, for instance.

Bruce was an enormous influence in my life, he was an inspiration, he was the ultimate Master/Teacher. I had to overcome a lot of difficulties as a child and although Bruce had passed away when I began Martial Arts it was like he was always present to guide me. This is why I despise the way he was portrayed by Tarantino. Ask yourself if Tarantino would have mocked Marlon Brando or Picasso. Bruce was the Picasso of Martial Arts, he painted a whole new picture that led to UFC and MMA and so much more and besides why would you mock someone who is dead?

There's an interview with someone who studied Bruce's trajectory. They tried to compare him to Arnold who became a Governor. Equating that with Arnold's charisma, the interviewee said because Bruce was born in the US he could have become President.... probably wouldn't be his path, but kinda interesting to think about. We in the US do have some history of presidents who were actors and celebrities.

My very first memory of Bruce Lee was in a movie theatre back in the 70's.They showed a trailer to the movie Big Boss. There were Alsatian dogs flying through the air trying to attack him. He was ducking out of the way. That scene blew me away. I was about 7 yrs old. I joined a Wing Chun club when i was 21. I believe it has kept me healthy to the present day.

There's an interview with someone who studied Bruce's trajectory. They tried to compare him to Arnold who became a Governor. Equating that with Arnold's charisma, the interviewee said because Bruce was born in the US he could have become President.... probably wouldn't be his path, but kinda interesting to think about. We in the US do have some history of presidents who were actors and celebrities.
Bruce Lee could definitely be a US president coz he was so full of wisdom that had been manifested in his application in martial arts and definitely would make America great again! And one needs wisdom and integrity to lead a country!

My very first memory of Bruce Lee was in a movie theatre back in the 70's.They showed a trailer to the movie Big Boss.
There were Alsatian dogs flying through the air trying to attack him. He was ducking out of the way. That scene blew me away. I was about 7 yrs old. I joined a Wing Chun club when i was 21.
I believe it has kept me healthy to the present day.
