"he's not nervous, he's just a little bit overwhelmed" - You have such a gift for making Blakely feel included and protecting their brother/sister relationship even while one is nonverbal. I grew up with a special needs brother and during my childhood, I would feel resentful and frustrated at not being included or sent away/punished to make tasks with my brother easier. You have such gift for emotional intelligent communication and making her a part of the "team."
When Blakely pushed Beckham on the floor at 3:01, Beckham protected himself hitting the floor too hard. Very impressive! And a good skill to have.
Beckham is so blessed to have parents like you guys. You do so much for him to have the best life possible.

I have never ever all my friends that have kids I’ve never seen a more supportive loving sibling than Blakeley- she’s unbelievable. So beautiful so sweet she loves him so much I’ve never seen such a dynamic. I see her working in the field of special needs when she’s older she’s going to be such a loving adult. Great parenting guys- in my 37 yrs I’ve never seen anything like that honestly.

Rachel I could watch this all day! Nothing captivates me more than Bechams journey through life. His little expressions, sounds, accomplishments, and most of all his love for his parents and sister and grand dad! One day I vow to meet that little guy and let him know how much he has inspired me from the the first day I layed eyes on him❤️

Love this. I've been thinking couldn't you switch Beckham's room and the master bedrooms. Oddly other videos had me thinking the rooms are roughly the same size. I see in this video the rooms are very different in size. Ah well that would have been a good idea rather than a chair lift for the stairs. Plus the shower as he'll be getting too big for the sink.

Your kids are soooo cute! Beckham does so amazing navigating around in his wheelchair. That adaptive onesie is very cool and helpful. It's very cute how much Blakely loves her big brother. Their hug with daddy was precious!

I love you so much. Everything I am is because I was blessed with most incredible teammate for life.
My son has an NG tube, he has gravity feeds so no pushing I just hold it up, he has two syringes of water and 4 of his special milk feed, no breaks and it takes about 20 mins to go down. He's due a g-tube / peg surgery this summer, itll be his first g-tube. He's 6 yrs old.
And Beckham is doing amazing and is adorable as well ❤

An option for the bath tub is the 'Splachy' by firefly. I think it is very cool and so save for the kids. But we have a bath chair too. Named R82 Flamingo. It is very good for poddy training!
And my son eats by mouth and hates brushing the teeth... 😅😂
I dont know how to teach Blakers that what she is doing to Beckham is way too rough and scares him. In her little mind she is just giving him extra love😂
i’m just curious, but if you needed to take a feed on the go for Beckham for his tube, how would you do it? also, I’m blind and have a minor case of cerebral palsy as well and your son is an inspiration for me. I love your videos.

The playground you guys went to in this video looks like it would be a great place for Beckham to practice and explore in his new wheelchair!! From what I saw it looks like the area is mostly rubber and concrete which are both great surfaces to practice on and I am sure he would love the freedom to just explore. I also wonder if Beckham gets a little upset getting into the stander at home because it doesn’t move around like the stander with wheels he uses at school. This kiddo loves to be on the move so having to stand in one place rather than move around like in his stander at school or his wheelchair.
Love watching him be so independent in his wheelchair.

I'm in the UK, so don't know any brands, but soups & broths can make good bases, especially when Beckham's unwell & you need something more basic to help settle his stomach, you can give him just the broth/soup.

Crazy to see how tall he's gotten since you first got that stander. Just curious how much taller does it go? Maybe when he outgrows it you can get one of the fancy wheeled ones. I want to see that thing in action!
I think Blakey could be a bit jealous of Beckham but you both tend to her as equally. You must be exhausted at the end of the day. How lucky to have a little girl too! God is so good❤️❤️❤️

Can we see a video of beckham steering his wheelchair outside I want to see what he decides to explore first I think he’ll love it too. I’m amazed by his ability to steer it to well and when the drawer was open he moved his head to the side to avoid bumping his head which is amazing forward planning. My little girl has cp she is able to walk but one side is slightly weaker than the other so we do a lot of practice with fine motor skills at the moment and remember to look where she’s walking and picking her feet up high so she doesn’t trip xx
