    The Manual has errors, but most Axial Manuals do... all small. You're doing a good service to everyone by pointing out the errors and explaining the solution! 👍👍
    A few People here had the same issue with mounting the Servo. Any non Spektrum Servo....
    You sorted it well. 😉
    NONE of us understand WHY the reverse threads on the Links!! 😡😖 NO other Crawler ever had that. They're NOT Turnbuckles, and never need adjustments.
    That one's a mystery! 😲
    As always Matteo, it was a pleasure watching you build!! It was refreshing whilst WAITING for my rare chance of buying a NEW, top line RC, like everyone else. It is close, as our Stimulus Checks should be here soon!!! 😁😁😁 I am very excited!
    Till the next Video my Friend! Unless you stop by my latest Videos. 😉😎
    Please stay SAFE! 😷

    Just came across your videos. Fantastic build. Im with you on the power tool, I say power tool all the way, low setting 1 or 2 and slow and you shouldn’t have any issues. People! Don’t be trigger happy lol. Another channel to subscribe too

    Love your vids Matteo, I am building mine too, but got impatient and could not wait for you, but wish I had, love the links into the driver tip. Manual was terrible I thought, luckily the kit makes up for it in quality. Same servo as me too.

    I've become more careful when using a power tool, especially if putting in the screws for the first time. I had the issue, that they became pretty hot and when I removed the screw later, a lot of material came out with it (I think it was a Tamiya ABS chassis). It certainly depends on the material and the type of screw, but now, I only use moderate or slow speeds and when tightening down multiple longer screws, I'm alternating between them, so they can cool down a little. If the threads are cut/formed, it seems less problematic.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's true, we have to be careful with this. But without this power tool it is very exhausting.

    Careful usuing a Drill on anything Plastic itll heat the plastic up & melt the threads.. 👍🏼Nice vid

    Hoi Matteo, wurde das beim Hersteller nicht zuerst mal zusammengebaut? Ich kann das nicht ganz verstehen, dass du am Gehäuse abschneiden musstest. Fehler in der Konstruktion oder Herstellung!!

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Das Problem ist, das dort Fremdkomponenten eingebaut werden. Diese unterscheiden sich halt ganz gering in der Grösse. Aber andere Hersteller konstruieren das so das verschiedene Produkte eingebaut werden können und nicht nur die aus dem eigenen Hause.

    The servo mounting issue is nothing new. Axial built this truck like others to fit their own brand or cheap Tactic servos. Any other good quality servo will require the same trimming as you did. Also while faster and easier on the wrist, I would avoid using a power driver to assemble your kit. Disassembly is fine since the plastic has had the threads cut into it, but new plastic too risky. If you do, you should try to finish tightening by hand.

    • @StanleyShi2R
      @StanleyShi2R 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      in earlier videos he explains that he finishes off the screws by tightening by hand, you can hear the clutch on the drill go of f

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that's true. But I was carefully with tighten the screws. I recommend to use a power tool otherwise your wrist will be broken after so much long screws...

    Call or Email Horizon Hobby to request a free pack of replacement parts for the kit. You need the AXI232017 Wild Boar Driveshaft set. The front drive shaft needs a long sleeve from the kit, the rear drive shaft needs the other long sleeve from the kit and the long connector that goes between two long sleeves. The kit made many mistakes and these mistakes make a click sound and puts too much stress on the parts as they are in the original kit. I am Brian D. and I love your videos. Get the free pack before running your truck more and risking damage.
