It uses ToolCore a modscript framework made by AshLikeSnow. She wanted to enhance the tools while also making them more performance then the current tools.
@@IonutzGamesMc Build and Repair semi functions the same but it seems more like magic when using that because there isent anything physics wise that tells you that its doing. A block just magicly starts building. Not really realistic but ok. It works atleast. But I made mine for more futuristic realism.
This is more compact block. More specificly designed for being integrated into shipyards. Also gave it a more unique sound and also particles wich the XT-5000 doesnt have. You could say that OmniTools was the testbed for using toolcore. While OmniArc Adv Tools is going to be more industrialized to fit in. Even tho i know many people like the integration of multiple modes of their tools. Im not going to do this with OmniArc. These are going to be divided. Mostly because servers arent allways in sync and that can created issues when switching modes and so on. So im going to seperate all 3 tools in the OmniArc.
honestly really nice, these types of mods are amazing, like the Multitool blocks mod, which gives a fixed and turret multitool you can use
Well, this is going to save hours designing and building a printer. I want, need now
looks great
Really excited to try these out in my new station build. Any ETA for the release?
Its in the video description ;)
@@raidfire85 A little vague and I did read that. Thanks.
OUTSTANDING!!
Well... I need this
Needs some safety signage, rotating lights and safety barricades so that those lasers don't fry bystanders ...
Wait, this works with current mod api?
This is amazing!

Random video shows up in my feed :) After watching this again I wonder if it is possible to change the color of the laser?
@@Etchyboy No its not possible for now. Changing laser color is not a feature the Framework has that i use on my models aka ToolCore
I believe you could also use build and repair mod with the script to achieve the same result but it won't look as cool...

how is this different than the XT-5000?

kinda defeats the fun of building your own ship from the ground up if all you need to do is hit the print ship button.
I agree, right up until a factorum warship destroys it. Then I am so happy I can reprint what I designed.
Welder walls exist dude. This is just a way cooler way to do that.
I mean if you think its more fun the build a massive ship 1 block at a time over several hours or even days, dont use the mod
This isn't for making A ship, it's for making shipS
