Wow, first video I click and a great one, thx, my 15yo Frigidaire is no heat. So will follow tips and if I don't succeed I'll join & get real time help. You still around? Froggy.
Thx for your expertise Scott! I have a similar Frigidaire Gas Dryer model GLGQ332AS4. It was working but had a squeaky noise and took longer time to dry. So I decided to do a maintenance repair by cleaning all the flint, replacing drum bearing kit, heat sensor, gas valve coil kit. I noticed the harness switches to the coils were very loose and worn out and the orange wire (the orange and yellow wires) to the secondary coil was not attached to the switch's end. It's more quiet now but there's no heat! I didn't hear the igniter ticks off and no sign of burner's working. Could it be the wire harness too worn out or the igniter? Thank you
Can you replace the ignitor without removing the tub? It looks like you can. My gas dryer just died and since the gas valve coils an the ignitor are so cheap, I'm thinking about replacing all of them.
Many thanks for the vid! My Gibson/Frigidaire GSG746RHS0 igniter is now replaced! I had to be careful to align the belt & idler properly, but other than that, fairly easy repair. I used a "GE WE4X750 Ignitor, Flat W/O Bracket" and the existing bracket, versus paying ~$40 for the "Frigidaire" part; both are the same OEM part, the 101M Norton model.
Thanks. Your video was great.

It’s got to be that disconnect wire👍
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel Thank you so much Scott. The wire harness just came and I can't wait to replace it!
I swapped the wire harness yesterday and now it's like new! Running quietly like a Lexus and full of heat 😊🙂. Thank you so much for your videos Scott!
Awesome job Brandon😊👍

You can replace them without removing tub.

Thanks for the follow up
After 3 years with the GE WE4X750, is your dryer still working fine?
@@JasterMereel421 Indeed it is! So happy I didn't have to buy a new lower-quality dryer.
Hi Scott should the coil with the 3 male prongs have continuity across all 3 prongs?
