Damn, Bryan is a hell-ass guitarrist! He could not be as fast and clean as Joe Satriani, Kirk Hammett, Steve Vai, and many other "great guitarrists", but he is so crude yet creative... I love it!
they had this unique sound till the first lp. all versions before first releas were very brutal. this kind of a sonic youth vein they had was fitting perfect with the voice. unfortunately they abandonded it later. but as a teeneger i enjoyed this sound the same is for PJ HARVEY
The debut album is absolutely amazing and it still holds-up today. Honestly, the things I liked best about them back then was, first, drummer Robert Schultzberg's fierce style, and second, Brian's heavily distorted guitar tones. Once Schultzberg left in late '96, they lost their edge, and for whatever reason, Brian seemed to give up on the hard edge musical style. They've never been the same band since. Everything I've heard since that first album has disappointed me. A real shame.
@nopeekingjon Cuz they stoped playing old stuff from a long period .. they played some old songs in some countries last year, but not so often .. they said it's boring to play all the time the same songs and that they want to share they new and refreshed songs .. for instance, it's very diffucult nowadays to hear Pure Morning live. However, I love them even if they will stop playing old stuff forever
The way he uses harmonics on his guitar is very unique
Harmonic and strumming strength impeccable

Robert Schultzberg's drumming made placebo imo
@@ruairidhhiggins3736Respect you guys opinion but, to me, the definitive Placebo drummer was Steve.
Miss him so much!
They’re just amazing live, saw them in 04 in Lebanon and they were pristine.
It’s a shame that today’s music is in such a shitty state.
This performance is just amazing! We were born to lose!
That guitar sounds soooo sweeet!
Omg! The audience looks in a way so calm ... nowadays it's impossible to find an audience like this .. I wish I could hear this song in a live gig
i love this so much lol

Vaaaaamooo
Wow. Great crowd. What a performance though.
i like guys` appearance!
Fucking love this
I don't know why, but I like when Brian stomps his left foot at the end.
Boísimo. Rodaxe total de Placebo, chovendo, o público pasando do concerto e puntazo no min 2:27 o tipo de atrás recollendo o lixo co paraugas na man.
@fintobin wow he does. =)
why does this sounds like he sing in cursive
oh fuck. just like "silver rocket " by sonic youth
Parchita 😂😂
