Crochet with me an outfit for my niece’s 100th day!

One day, i suddenly decided that I should make an outfit for my niece’s (Baby I) 100th day. Yes, it came out of nowhere so I had minimal time and I had to make do with whatever yarn I already had lying around at home.
Thankfully, I did find a few skeins of grey 100% mercerised cotton yarn I bought some time ago, which I used for the main body because it’s sturdier and will soften in the wash. Also, with mercerised cotton, it’s easier for my sister to manage as well because she can just throw it in the wash and dryer without having to give it too much care.
Unfortunately, the only yarns I have are either milk cotton or wool, both of which are too heavy and hot for Singapore weather so the white lacy part and the pink ruffles were using the cotton-acrylic yarn I have been using for my WIP granny square crochet project.
Overall, I am incredibly pleased with how it turned out. I made it kind of too big though so even Baby I’s older sister could wear it; My sister is actually happy about this because it means they can use it for longer. LOL
