The Great blessing: Health
Quranic Ayat "if you were to count the Blessings of Allah, you will not be able to enumerate them."
We have so many Blessings which we have and don't think over until we start losing them one by one.
Health is one of them. When we are healthy and in great condition, we truly don't reflect upon such an astronomical Blessing. We take our good health for granted and don't realise that if we lose it, it becomes so hard to live our lives meaningfully, worship Allah and even more difficult to maintain a positive mindset, a Muslim mindset. Few of us Muslims realise that having a positive Muslim mindset is the best supplement which heals our bodily diseases along with other medicinal supplements. We cannot squander this great Health Blessing. It is our resource to serve our Creator Allah, The Almighty and live our lives for His sake.

Subhanallah completely agree. But there is always an exception to the rule. Such as that is followed by certain people in my family…where that opening a fast with pakoras and jalebees supplemented with samosas, and then biryani right after and that too is eaten with fresh pararthas is not exactly the best cancer fighting treatment
l would have wish all Universities or Health care Institutions training personals should include certain part of Qurianic knowledged into their course of study as borrowed course for most students on health to understand more about their profession.

Fasting is practiced today by some Christians. Fasting is in The Holy Bible and was done long before there was a religion called Islam. The reason Islam has fasting is from the Torah which was around when Muhammad was alive. I am not saying that it is not necessary, it is, and I am sure Islam leads the way in this, because not many Christians fast at all, only a minority.
If the tradition of fasting is originally from Bible or Torah, why don't you follow it while the Muslims do? And do never rhyme up corrupt scriptures of revelations with pure scripture from God. Cuz they are not the same as one that comes from Devil while the other one is divine and from God alone.
