Yes exactly...Since I had Himalayan BS3, I agree that RE makes all the products using a trial and error method with the customers' risk and money. This shows how they respect and value Indian customers.
Brand is the only reason they still motorcycles like Cb350, Fz-x, Cb300r, Tvs Ronin are infinitely better but don't sell as much. Especially CB350, Honda basically how bad RE 350 sales numbers and it's poor engineering and thought how easily they could overtake them with an all around better product, less weight, more power, better weight distribution, and a lot more mileage
RE had this issue with all models. I experienced chassis out in my Thunderbird 350 (2013 model). A small accident caused the issue. Poor quality and substandard materials used in RE. I was planning to buy Himalayan 450 but when I read about chassis broken and other issues like koneset, chain bolt fall out, I dropped the plan. Now I purchased Triumph Scrambler 400 X. RE bikes are just hype, nothing much.
Possibly it could be due to the manufacturer or possibly due to the accessory but the ending part is bitter truth where royal Enfield bikes releases their bikes as experiment on the Indian market
Ive never heard of any other bike from any other conpany that breaks it's chassie even if an unofficial crash guard was installed on. Royal enfielf just blaming the failure on aftermarket exhaust to increase profits on their own iverpriced items instead of actually inproving their product
What about resetting the torque when it loosen, zana crashguard covers the bolt entirely so for the bolt to tighten we have to remove the entire crash guard?
Lol...3 generations of the bike with the same issue yet all these (paid?) reviewers keep praising about the supposedly "world class" quality products that RE makes.

The crash guards are good. But all the nuts and bolts used by zana are substandard. Most of the side stand extender, saddle stay bolts come free when tryjng to loosen them. Zana should use better quality nuts and bolts overall. Not in reference to this video.❤

Your statements were fine until you said Royal Enfield used trial and error methods to engineer. Defend your own products by all means. But making accusations? It's not really cricket is it?
It's not accusation if the past himalayana have had this problem since the bs3 models now is it? How many more costumers will have to suffer and lose their hard earned money for royal Enfield to start giving out a Himalayan that dosent have such a critical error?
I owned a Himalayan 411 BS4 and it’s the most unreliable machine I ever owned. It had battery issues, paint chip off issues, instrument cluster had problems, fuel pump etc
I have a Meteor and I've spent 40k replacing faulty engineered ECU, speedo and ABS modulator. RE takes no responsibility. They basically experimented at my expense. Now they have new updated versions of the above - they obviously know the first versions were faulty and quietly fixed them without doing a recall.
@@terrycavender yes. I've just returned it to them because the main problem I had had returned. The bike was with them for 2 months and I got it back a couple of days ago saying the issue was fixed along with a bill. However taking it out yesterday the problem with ABS malfunction resurfaced and I promptly returned it to them. Anyway, I just have to deal with it.
Let’s call it like it is: This one’s on Zana. RE stands for reliability, but the first-gen chassis had its hiccups too so what? This time, the signs are pointing squarely at Zana. I mean, even the flush button that snapped at the RE dealer ended up being due to Zana's accessories. Add in the cone set issues, mirrors dropping off, fuel meter errors, you get the picture. At some point, Zana, you've got to own up. And let's not forget, other brands that use Zana aren’t exactly free from snapped chassis either. So maybe give RE a break on this one

its lovely how the owner has come up himslef to break silence and defend his brand... respect!
Thanks for using my pictures of my Bs3 model. Chasis breaking like a torn paper. Poor Quality is an understatement one of the worst I've ever seen
RE - never built a good product and always blamed everyone but themselves. Cheap is the only reason it sells. There is no other benefit to it.

@@Bumblebee_Jayesh NO the BOLT doesn’t need to be touched at all. It stays at OEM factory torque setting.

This isn't the case for himalyan 411. For the 411, you'd have to open the main engine bolt to install the zana crash gaurd.
How can a crashgurad break a chassis without breaking itself!!!!

The chassis of a motorcycle is the last thing that should even think about snapping in half
👎 For RE
